This is hands down the best road to GC series I have watched. I have seen many streamers/pros do it but Rizzo tried to play like the actual rank he was in and relied on superior positioning as much as he could over advanced mechanics(muscle memory allowing). Not only was it entertaining but it was extremely educational on the value of positioning over mechanics. I'm not high ranked and while I have been practicing multiple mechanics this is the first real series that really shows that decisions and positioning can take you so far. Mechanics obviously help but honestly THIS is the series that should be featured for new players in this game along with the tutorial. If you are a new player or a bronze player or a player of any rank and you've reached the point where you want to improve in this game this series is what you should watch before practicing any mechanics. This Road to GC series would help to make Rocket League a more popular game as a whole as players will understand more of what is going on in a game and the simple tools they can use to control the game rather than randomly flailing about or trying more difficult mechanics early that are more risk than reward. This would make the overall player base of rocket league far more healthy and dare I say less toxic. I'm sure no one will really see this comment but I just want to say thank you so much for this series Rizzo. I really love this game and I appreciate the time you took to make this series!
