Considered as one of the best surfers in the world, Dane Reynolds is the embodiment of a surf revival. An aerial, creative surf without compromise. He may even be the best thing to happen to surfing in the last decade. Desillusion Magazine’s editor in chief Sebastien Zanella followed Dane from Hawaii through to his hometown Ventura in California, to get an true insight of his life away from the spotlight.

That was a really cool video. Ventura does suck in allot of ways its right on the beach but the people can really be assholes. I have looked up to Dane my whole surfing life about 15 years. I respect him and love seeing him out at Rincon, Silverstrand, Emawood , the other day at the point and so on. Not only is he a great surfer but a great guy. Keep inspiring people to be the best they can thanks Dane ..

I surf in Israel in the Mediterranean Sea on medium waves and I can say that Dane Reynolds is a legend and inspiration to many surfers. You see through his eyes that he is a good person a stage and it gives positive energy to the world! Tnx Dane!
