Foam Dust: 25 Years of FCD | Patagonia Films

“Twenty-five years ago, we needed stronger surfboards so we started this,” says Fletcher Chouinard. Patagonia’s new film, Foam Dust - 25 Years of FCD, thumbs through the archives of FCD Surfboards. It looks back at the characters who embarked on an experimental journey in surfboard material and design-building boards that leave the least amount of environmental harm. This is their indefinite history, where the stories aren’t straight; the cast can’t quite remember names, dates or places; interviews are censored for fear of legal retribution; and if you have any questions, comments, bills or concerns, you’ll have to speak with the general manager, Zach the Dog.
