See all my photographs from The Day of the Dead here: trovatten.com/... Support my channel and help me create more videos: geni.us/trovatten. Photographer Captures Stunning Photos of Mexico Day of The Day of Dead. I'm / trovatten on Instagram. Come say hi!
The Day of the Dead is around the corner and today, a week before the actual Day of the Dead, we have a parade.
The Day of the Dead parade was fun and a good warm-up for next week!
I hope you enjoyed the Day of the Dead parade video aka Desfile de Día de Muertos.
Next year, I will be at Dia de Los Muertos, or The Day of The Dead in Mexico City and take even more pictures.
The Day of the Dead (or Día de los Muertos in Spanish) is a Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. It is a time for families and friends to come together to honor and remember their loved ones who have passed away.
The holiday has roots in the indigenous Aztec culture and has been celebrated in Mexico for thousands of years. It is believed that during the Day of the Dead, the spirits of the deceased return to the world of the living to be reunited with their loved ones. Families prepare altars, or ofrendas, with photos, favorite foods, flowers, and other offerings to welcome the spirits back home.
The Day of the Dead is a vibrant and colorful celebration that includes parades, music, dancing, and feasting. It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and joy, as families come together to celebrate the lives of those who have passed on and to show that death is a natural part of the human experience.

I am Mexican and in my country there is a very popular saying that we say to every foreigner who asks about our culture and it is this: "Mexico is the only place in the world where death is made of sugar."

I would like to say something about the origin of the icon of the Mexican Day of the Dead: "La Catrina" by the famous Mexican printmaker, cartoon illustrator and lithographer José Guadalupe Posada. The image of a female skeleton is dressed in European outfit from his upper class time. She is offered as a satirical portrait of those Mexican natives who, Posada felt, were aspiring to adopt European aristocratic traditions in the Mexican pre-revolutionary era. So "La Catrina" has become an icon of this Mexican Day of the Dead. I invite you to know more about this author. Thank you! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qomufYtphrZqr80

more or less two million people that day on Reforma Avenue, however, despite the crowd is the great party of my country, in every state, in every town, not only for the party but for everything that involves remembering those who have already left and remember that life is lived intensely. The offering that is mounted is dedicated to each of our loved ones who have already left, in addition to the alebrijes that is another expression of our culture. Greetings from Mexico

This is beautiful. I love the idea for day of the dead. I love how it's a celebration and it teaches us not to be sad for the ones we have lost. I am a Christian, so I know I will see my loved ones again, and this celebration really helps me, and others know that. Thank you for posting this beautiful video.
