Beautiful beautiful beautiful! Im natural and wish i could wear my hair like the 1st cut but it will go back to its natural state so fast that i can't enjoy a day with the style. It's there anything i can do about that? I figured no but nothing wrong with asking! KEEP UP THE BEAUTIFUL WORK!

My hair is natural. And I was able to hold it in a sleek style until I washed it. (I wash once a week.). I think doing this with rollers is voodoo, but I was able to do this by flat ironing at low heat (265F). (I wasn’t aiming for being quite this sleek and shiny. I just wanted to be able to take a break from super curly and really, really brush my hair throughly and to have my hair ready to go to bed or start my day in 5 minutes or less.). The ‘trick’ is to seal moisture on the inside while drying the outside so that the hair is pliable but not totally free to curl whatever way it wants. I do a lot of deep conditioning under heat to drive moisture insight, thoroughly and gently detangling and applying leave in over all surfaces of the hair, drying and heating under tension to lay the cuticles down, and applying low moisture creams. I also found that applying flax oil and Shapen Hold spray helps to keep my hair from reverting. You have to keep moisture in. If you use silicones and oils on dry natural hair, it will rebel. If you use products with water as the first ingredient, it will revert. And if you doing create a reservoir of moisture outside the shaft, it will react to the air and revert. I hope that this makes sense. It was wonderful to be able to return to the look and feel of relaxed hair for a while.

Not the same as the thumb print. The lady had short, fuzzy pink hair.
