9:20 i think the argument dream is addressing here is "there's no way dream didnt notice his impossible luck while playing", and his counterargument is that the impossible luck was not exactly obvious, and it was in fact so not-obvious that basically nobody else noticed it either, except for minecravenger who's realization of it was probably aided by the fact that he had cheated in exactly that way before (so he was more likely than the average person to consider it as a possibility and thus investigate it).

I think it is also worth pointing out Minecraft 1.16 (where the pearl trading meta started) was still relatively new at the time of the cheated runs Dream not intuitively sensing the rates were off isn’t exactly to crazy since he didn’t know 1.16 speedrunning like the back of his hand in the same way he knew 1.15 speedrunning (which is what he mainly speed ram even after 1.16 was out)

Few years ago I did a video (removed now because of all the abuse i got) where I tried to emulate Dream's trade luck. I use a golden looting sword like in some speedruns, other times i just dropped a stack of gold without looting sword etc. I got just bellow Dream's luck (since he had the mod) and i concluded at the time "so I got 3 less ender pearls, but more rods than Dream. So its possible that his luck with the looting may have offset the scales. Its hard to say." Instantly got people calling me a stan, a creep, telling me to unalive myself, the usual lovely stuff. Then when I was livestreaming on Minecraft with my sister, who at the time was 15, commentors were saying very vile things in the chat aimed at her specifically and bringing Dream hate into it. Was the usual stuff. Unalive yourself, you're a Dream Stan if you play Minecraft, etc. Ended up deleting most of my videos because they were just going to them on mass. Even my FNAF playthrough got targeted. I uploaded part 1, within minutes, the hate train arrived. I don't understand it. And even now, on Dream;'s video, the haters are on there in the comments attacking people who support Dream.

They really go after anyone who even tries to question what the truth could be. They just automatically believe the worst, and attack anyone who chooses to question it. It's really sad that people live with such hatred in their hearts. God I've gotten so frustrated with how ppl on twt treats all this. They demand and push dream to explain himself and provide proof but as soon as he does they pull the "I'm not reading or watching all that" kind of mindset and continue insulting him These ppl celebrate whenever new claims come out about dream, the comments, quotes, everything is just them literally celebrating that they've got a "reason" to hate on dream, I quite literally never see anyone sympathizing for the so called "victims". So many times I've seen them make actual horrible jokes against actual victims and be so unapologetic about it, these ppl never cared about actual victims, they only cared that they could make truly insensitive jokes to anyone who believed dream, they only cared that these "allegations" fed into their "dream is bad" narrative One other thing, sure dream's made a couple of "insensitive" jokes in the past but a lot of them he's apologized for and you can obviously see the growth in how he doesn't make such jokes anymore. People grow and learn and I genuinely believe dream has. It's actually horrible to see what actual victims have had to face from the haters. It's also horrible to see the harassment dream has faced, from the doxxing to even harassing his family who've done nothing whatsoever just because they hate him so much. But ofc the moment anyone tries sympathizing for dream on this we get called "dream stan", "embarrassing", "d*ck rider", "p*do/gr**mer defender", or they pull the "dream's a grown man stop babying him" card. It's called having sympathy for another human being who's been through so much just because people would rather put their energy into ruining his life than simply blocking and putting their energy towards their own interests.

I'm not sure if Dream's video will help anything for him or his family. But I really hope it does. From the beginning it was wild how easily people believed the worst about Dream. Granted Dream usually reacts to things quickly and badly, making him seem insincere... but he always does so because he is hurt by accusations, and wants to fix things. His one character flaw is reacting to things quickly without thinking of the consequences. But I've never faulted him for that because I can see he really does try very hard to learn from those mistakes, and to do better. And I've seen the effort he has made. He is genuinely trying to learn how to handle his reactions better to unfortunate circumstances. And having to learn how to deal with reactions to such horrific things such as allegations and swatting... ugh. Kudos to Dream for trying to better himself while dealing with such utter bs. I hate that the internet has decided to treat him like a villain. He may have played one on the DSMP. But he is not a villain. He's just a flawed human like the rest of us. Just trying to play games with his friends. Let the man enjoy playing games again.

I never used twitter, never saw the toxic fans. All i ever see is "wait for the toxic dream stans" on videos. Even music videos about Minecraft, without fault they're there attacking his fanbase. And what can a normal fan do? If you stay quiet, you're a snivelling coward. And if you raise how they are being toxic then "see i triggered a stan hahaha unalive yourself n00b" is the reply by the hater. I only watched his Manhunt series and the tail end of the DSMP and already noticed haters just being toxic. And look, im 33, so even I tried to work out if Dream cheated by emulating his luck myself. Came to a conclusion that it was possible if he used a looting sword, i actually had better odds than him on my PS5. The response was people telling to to unalive myself, calling me a toxic dream stan. It was an experiment to test the odds. And for over a year, I had people commenting on my videos, be it FNAF, Minecraft or No Mans Sky, telling me to unalive myself for being a childish Dream stan. I had to delete over 50 videos because it was daily. As for the fans, yeah theres a loud FEW that are creepy. Like that one girl who wore that NSFW Dream and George tee at twitch. Or that girl who stole his water bottle and then followed them to the loo. Creepy few. Where as the haters... theres alot. So far, 146K dislikes on his video, people calling him gay and saying he supports Israel, that he is a pedo who is throwing others under the bus. Its crazy. People just flat out saying Dream's abused them in the comment section, saying he will go to hell and burn etc.

It feels like the response to the allegations was handled really poorly in part due to the fact that it was getting responded to by young "creators" that haven't actually dealt with enough life experiences to look at the claims critically and actually deconstruct some of what's been said in the past, because like a lot of the evidence has been out and floating about for over a year now. Also, 13:18, you were thinking of Jikishi Regarding the Amanda stuff, it was shown that she was training and distributing an AI model to actually like generate fake images of Dream (A huggingface account tied to her name was found that was uploading these models). When factoring in the other evidence against her claim, it really reads like she was taking extra steps to actually fabricate evidence to demonize Dream. I've honestly not been on the big hype of Dream to begin with. I did very much enjoy his manhunt videos though. I kind of started following a couple other streamers I found more interest in through Dream SMP way back, but he seems to be a funny guy and a very avid gamer and friend. I was kind of out of touch there for a bit with any of his content shortly after the face reveal. When hearing rumors of some of this stuff that he was accused of, I thought it riduculous, but didn't want to dig into that chaos sensing something off. You see this with some other famous people getting accused of junk just so the other person(s) can get some attention. I just had no idea it had gotten this bad for him. I'm glad that he was able to get some of this cleared up and was willing to so publically share proof. Why would he lie about stuff like this to discredit himself more? That makes no sense! I honestly feel so bad for his family and friends who also had to deal with this unnecessary slander. And a great point brought up multiple times, Why do people claim to be a victim of such allegations and make it harder for the real ones?

One of my good friends actually went through some similar allegations, and he had to move far away from our home town because even though he was proven innocent, it still practically ruined his life. I know he was innocent, all the proof that he never did it was in plain sight, and he hid nothing, but still people harassed and threatened to end his life... in my opinion, no one ever deserves this to happen to them, because it literally destroys lives, it's one thing to dislike someone and it's another to ruin their life... don't ruin people's lives guys, because you're also hurting real allegations and innocent people

In my opinion, i'm glad that you reacted this video for me to see what are the other's opinions on these allegations and the video that Dream made to explain about it all and the entire time i don't even know about the allegations, i never used twitter or tiktok only youtube. The reason why i heard of this cause a friend of mine told me about it yet as someone who was always skeptical about things made me think that something like this would never happen to a favorite minecraft youtuber of mine. But my friends told me that there's like bad and toxic sides of the internet and that it's best i should not peer into it. Me and my other friend have been neutral about all the drama since we're like afraid that we'll be judge for what opinions we'll tell about all of it. While that one friend who told me, sided with Gumball and told me i should stop insisting on being neutral. Overall, i'm rather proud of Dream for deciding to gather in and possibly try to clear up his name, whether all of this is real or not. I never knew that people, literal people, have the guts to spread hate online i'm actually surprised cause i'm barely online and thought why are ya'll hating on a random stranger? A content creator even? I think my friend was serious that people will either hate for no reason or find a valid "reason" to hate. All of his explanations seemed reasonable and kinda valid, i haven't come to a conclusion yet and i truly agree with what everything you said about in your video rn, Hot Sauce Beats.
