Happy 10 year anniversary to This Is Dubstep Anthems! I really miss when GetDarker released compilation albums! This was one of their most underrated ones! A great and vast collection of popular Dubstep tracks over the years! This is still good today and definitely a big recommendation for those new to Dubstep especially to this caliber!

why couldnt we have just stuck with this sound? everyone went all crazy with drumstep, moombahton, moombahcore, heavy electro and trap. it was crazy listening to this mix and getting all those first feelings back when I discovered dubstep. now it seems like its music made for drunk people at clubs. this type of dubstep had the most heart imo.

I won't argue that it isn't true dubstep. But brostep is a subgenre of it. Furthermore, yes, some people treat Skrillex as a god. Ignore them 'cause 90% of them are trolls. Skrillex certainly did not invent dubstep but it's a fact that he brought some influence to the americas.
