This is Exactly Why We Need Another Hot Pursuit Game...

Remember back when NFS Actually had some menacing CHALLENGING Cops? Now these days all we got is some poverty handicapped cops that were meant for the casuals who always complain about the police being too hard which now they are complete jokes. (NFS Heat cop nerfs and unbound)
Its all Fun and games until every cop is driving a complete HYPERCAR that you cannot outrun with ease anymore. Don't get me started on how fun the pursuit weapons are. They only need balancing because esf and shockwave is straight up broken and there is no reason to use anything else. But in this case I use the turbo because its just more fun that way.
Next NFS Game they should amp the difficulty like rivals did. Bring back the hypercar cops and bring back those Helicopters that actually were fast and have an actual spotlight.
In this gameplay, the cops were amped up even more thanks to the rivals + Mod! As you can see, this is the difficulty that would satisfy anyone.
Wonder how I got the infinite night time (optional) and these broken cops that are even stronger and faster than usual. Its all in the Need For Speed Rivals+ by GrabussPC.

NFS Rivals could have been one of the best NFS games if it had one more year of development. Similar to HP2010, this game's cop vs racer ideologies were interesting to explore, just like Assassin's vs Templars in AC games.

I can only agree with you, i kinda loved the free froam persuits idea here, was something the 2010 game should have had. While challenging, I kinda found racer on high heat was very frustrating to impossible, rather trying to avoid persuits if possible, in that aspecr, being the cop was more relaxing

The pursuits in the new NFS games are nothing compared to the pursuits of Hot Pursuit 2- Hot Pursuit 2010. They are so easy and provide no challenge. I was so scared of getting busted in carreer mode that I practiced pursuits in challenge mode

Man... I can only agree with you, in most of my life I only played the ps2 games of need for speed, and my favorites were Most Wanted (favorite of the favorites), Undercover and Underground 2. If Most Wanted cops meeted with Rivals, they would shake 💀 And once I got my hands on Rivals, when the pursuit started I was just like: "Well, Im dead". But I simply loved the game, every race game that has cops is simply more fun, challenging, however even more fun

As a Rivals professional (ha no I'm not) I've gotten so used to the pursuits that when I play any other nfs I literally can't be caught. I still beat down the occasional player cop. It would be nice to have a new hot pursuit. It would look pretty too.

yeah i certainly agree with you!!! NFS Rivals is one of my favorite game i ever played im more interesting with exploring and doing some random event in free roam unlike the Hot Pursuit one and also i like the feature when every the car has critical damage & spent all of Pursuit Tech you can refill and repair to nearest Gas Station for unlimited amount I think this is what makes this game tense and exciting for long doing chase gameplay!

I'll be real with you, I didn't like Hot Pursuit because it didn't have a proper freeroam mode, instead playing online was sanctioned into events like a cod game or something along those lines. Rivals pretty much gave you a world to drive in, a side to choose and allowed you to do whatever the heck you want and offered some chaotic gameplay

Hey I have a question about this mod, what addons need to be applied to NFS Rivals to have infinite health? Because I installed the mod and even tho the health bar isn't visible I still take damage, Is this normal?

I only liked Most Wanted for the cop chases. I would def be willing to splurge on the ultimate edition of a Hot Pursuit style NFS where you can play as the cops on top of having the Most Wanted cop AI as backup
