I I was fortunate enough to see Lenny Kravitz in concert at the intimate venue of radio city music Hall in New York City just about five years ago. It was the most exciting concerts I’ve ever been to! Lenny Kravitz has so many hit songs that I have forgotten until listening to one back to back he was amazing! He explain to the crowd that as a young boy his grandmother would bring him to radio city musical and see other shows and there he was tonight on the stage. He went up to the first 6 to 7 rows and just started hugging all of the concertgoers. He has such an open heart and he really knows how to rock ‘n’ roll !!! One of the best concerts I have ever seen and at the age of 58 believe me I’ve seen a lot !!

My favorite male artist ALL TIME!!! I saw him live five times, but the best was in Sydney, Australia in 1994... INCREDIBLE!!! His voice live is the same as recorded. BTW, he's in the Hunger Games movies too... Plus his daughter is Zoe Kravitz who has been is several movies. To top it off, his mother was on 'The Jefferson's' sitcom in the 1980's and got the role bc she was already married to a white guy... Lenny's dad. Good Stuff...

His MOM was an actress on the TV show The Jeffersons( ironically married to a white man on the show ... and in real life Lenny's father was Jewish. His mother is Roxie Roker, who played Helen Willis, from the interracial couple on The Jeffersons TV Show (which broke barriers on Network TV in the 70s). She was in an interracial marriage in real life as well, with a TV Producer named Sy Kravitz, a Jewish man who is Lenny's father. Also of note is Lenny's daughter and Roxie's granddaughter is the actress, Zoe Kravitz. Lenny's a great musician with a lot of different styles. I recommend Lenny's song "It Ain't Over Til It's Over" for a different style song by him. Very soulful.
