Utterly depressing. With the lights, after the main season, the council gets an all-year-round visitor income, and it seems nothing is put back into improving the place, no gardens, shrubs or flower baskets on the prom. It's certainly not a family resort anymore.

Blackpool - One of the greatest places ever for a weekend away. 1 - Blackpool Pleasure Beach - Easily in the Top 3 Best Theme Parks in the UK (only beaten by Drayton Manor imo, because of the very short queue times, although Blackpool Pleasure Beach is almost as quick). 2 - Blackpool Tower - Tower Circus, Tower Eye (Glass Floor), Tower Ballroom, Tower Dungeon, Dino Mini Golf, Madame Tussauds, and Sea Life Aquarium where you can swim with sharks. 3 - Sandcastle Waterpark - A place I've never been. 4 - Blackpool Zoo - A place I've never been. 5 - Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum - Fun. 5 - The 3 piers full of rides. 6 - The countless amusement arcades. 7 - The countless pubs and clubs. 8 - Plus much much more. What I'd recommend: Friday Day - Blackpool Pleasure Beach (with an unlimited rides wristband, which you can always get cheaper by booking online months in advance, booking with promotions online or in places like newspapers or cereal boxes). Friday Night - Pubs and Clubs. Saturday Day - Explore places like the Coral Island Amusements, Rock City Store, the piers etc, before finishing at Blackpool Tower to go up the tower, get a brief glimpse of the aquarium, and watch the excellent circus. Saturday Night - Pubs and Clubs. Sunday Day - Carry on exploring places on the Promenade the same as Saturday before you go home, do a bit of shopping, or go watch a daytime show. You can also get deals online for B&B's which include things like deals for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower, and things like Ice Shows.

I am not a hater, far from it. But haters could hate on you for the start of your video. I don't know about where you are, but here in the States, no matter what vehicle you are using, including a bike, you can not blow through a cross walk with someone using it, even if they are not in a crosswalk. Especially if you force the walker to stop in order to let you pass as you did. A big no no. Here it would be breaking a law with a citation coming.

Blackpool. If you have been before, you know what you are getting - and will likely keep going. It’s not for everyone for sure, but if you go with a smile, like Reggie, you will come back with a grin. Off the beaten track highlights are Stanley Park, The Yorkshire Fisheries and coast walk from Gynn Square to the South Pier. Throw some cash at the slot machines and grab an ice cream along the way. Night time is for the drinkers, hens and stags galore, gets like every other High St so avoid if not for you.
