What happened here was, the Fighter blew up his ship, but the server had not recognized it 100% for him yet. Then it caught up, thus he died. And we see a weird delayed version of respawning in a hospital bed. Sever lag did him dirty

What actually happened here was this. He had a crime stat which means other players will come to kill him for his bounty. The scorpius was a player that tracked him down for his bounty. He tried to run away and he was killed by the other player. He died outside the range of a comm array or the comm arrays were down so he respawned at grim hex which is the pirate base instead of being sent to jail. I don't think there was any server lag here the video is very obviously edited in a way to cut out context of what is actually happening. He cut from being in orison to being in space a trip which takes quite a few minutes in a reclaimer lol.

@@rekrn12345 about everything you said is wrong. He didn’t have a bounty. Comm arrays have nothing to do with going to jail, they only allow the setting of crime stats. It’s just a buggy mess is all.

@@ultrastoat3298 getting killed with a PRE-EXISTING CS outside a comm array will send you to hex, not jail. hes not wrong on that dude. you're correct about them allowing the setting of CS, but thats not what rekrn was talking about at all. Also, how can you know he doesn't have a CS? theres nothing in the clip that shows the top right of his screen, or mobiglass

@@ultrastoat3298 If your have a CS and die outside of a comm array you respawn in grim hex. As someone who does piracy and takes down comm arrays trust me I know how the game systems work. There were no bugs in this video just deceptive and dishonest editing. The reason I know he has a crime stat is because he respawned in grim hex. Learn how the game works before you talk dude lol.

Seems Jack had The Call to arms. mission. Side effect is, it's sends dead criminals to jail. Sometimes it's only the crimes you are currently committing. Not sure why your ship blew up but, Seems jack wasnt in your party when it happened. Gonna be nice when/ if then game works.

As much as I love Star Citizen and believe me I do, it was the main reason I got my pc. Its pretty frustrating when somebody shouts “Its an alpha tho” when you have the slightest complaint about the game. Totally understand it is an alpha, but what, so we cannot criticise aspects of the game can we not? If we don’t talk about it then it wont get fixed. The entire point of the game is basically to use us as game testers and fund raisers. If you are putting your hand into your wallet you have every right to criticise things. It is encouraged by even the developers. Complaining about aspects of the game and development is information they want to know about so they can plan things, get stuff sorted and ultimately slowly push this towards beta and then release. Any big company with any semblance of self preservation relies on feedback. This is no exception :)

The latest patch broke me after 6 years of playing. Im done for awhile. Maybe when and if they add base building Ill come back and try again. MM ruined the last aspect of the game I enjoyed. Its like flying a turret now.

Its not that hard to figure out. The Scorpius blew up your ship. You were outside of comms range so you didn't end up in prison and instead went to grim hex because you have a crime stat. I would imagine in the unedited footage this would have made a lot of sense but you obviously cut a lot of it out to create this sense of discontinuity.

Nah. Not yet anyways. How SC works is each ship you "claim" is a fresh ship from the factory through the insurance policy. You can "store" and "retrieve" said ship and it will preserve that ships state. If the ship dies or is lost You can "claim" a new ship. In previous builds, the claimed ship would DeShawn from where it was in the world unless other players were flying it or in various seats. Now, and the future plan, is that the ship will never despawn but rather get recycled into the mission system for salvage or server maintenence

Pouring in 10+ years and hiring over a thousand people while continually producing actually playable features that people can verify the progress on for themselves just sounds like the dumbest idea ever if you want to scam people. Building the thing you promise "on accident" while scamming them even sounds like lunacy. You can be salty about all the bugs that naturally happen during game development, but that would mean you are an actual player and are seeing the changes and new features they implement with your own eyes. Which would instantly disprove the notion of scam, because who actually delivers on their scam.

@@jimslim2831 if you knew how utterly unplayable alphas typically are, you wouldn't make jokes about it. Normally, the game is stable enough to maybe get 3 minutes to test a feature before you crash everything to death. And I mean hard locks that force everything into restarts and the like. To even be able to play the thing (with a few bugs and hiccups) for hours means that they have dedicated a lot of time into fixing the game breaking shit. You might confuse alpha with early access, those 2 are completely different concepts and the latter is indeed fully playable altho there are some features missing.
