First of all, no one knew Iyo played fighting games. I've been playing them for over 30 years and his name never had relevance. He clearly never made it in his preferred sphere so he just went to another one, and then shouts from the rooftops that he's a pro at this other one where he failed. And when Tectone asked why he would prefer a daily lockout of farming, it's really simple to answer: he doesn't want to """lose""" to people who can farm all day. If there's a daily lockout, no one can out-farm him. I did follow Iyo for a while, but it was his throwing around the "I understand this because I'm in the FGC and you guys don't, so revere me" that broke the camel's back. I've started seeing that since WuWa week 1 on one of his Twitter posts, where he showcased all this tech (not even his, but I think he at least credited), but at the end of the day what's the point of it? Doesn't change the game at all, doesn't even increase your damage that much. Effort for gain was null to negative, and he seemed to not understand this. You can apply his complaint about echo rng to basically every big gacha right now, but he goes off on WuWa? The MOST respectful of your time by far and the LEAST dependent on good relics/echoes/etc. Aside from the stats not mattering to the degree they do in Hoyo games in the games current state, you also have no cap on farming. Being skilled can trump "bad" substats. With the enemy strength as is currently you can snag your main stats and be done. WuWa is by far my shortest daily right now.

I still haven’t gotten perfect echo sets I’m at level 56 lmao. I’m just chilling at my own pace. WuWa has been fun and I loved the 1.1 update. ZZZ I’m at level 40 rn. Sure it has all this hidden tech and what not but I think the time sink is going to scare off a lot of casual players. It took me at least level 30 for some difficulty. I like that I don’t have to sweat in ZZZ. I’m having fun playing both. It’s just two different games.

I’m the same level/investment for both games. And yeah I feel the same way. Already cleared most content for WuWa w/ 22 stars and I’m perfectly content. Putting the game on the side til Changli drop. For ZZZ, currently bringing up my units to 50 and about to tackle Shiyu 10+. The game is very F2P friendly and great after 30, but dam it does take a while to get rolling and I think this is sadly why people had such disappointing first impressions.

i don't play zzz because i don't like the combat system (lack of freedom) but i play wuwa, i am level 55 (i missed an entire 2x event because i was dumb, so that's why i am behind), and i no lifed a lot of echoes, played for hours on end to get perfect rolls on my jiyan, almost perfecy rolls on my encore and i don't even fell remotely burned out, i like the farm, i like the grind and i like blowing shit up with anime characters, it can be my inner destiny player that has been grinding shit nonstop since 2014? it can be, but this game give's me the option, so i do it, "I PAYED FOR THE WHOLE SPEEDOMETER SO I WILL USE THE WHOLE SPEEDOMETER" type of shit for me

I don't get what's so crazy about the "trust me bro" energy. There are many content creators I watch that have that "trust me bro" energy. Saying that "he needs to understand" is different from him confirming that he understands. Proof is needed to prove something. Proof is irrelevant if the hot take isn't even the one Iyo's talking about. What people deem as relevant or "hot take" is different from others. Right now Iyo's video is proving that content creators are treated "wierdly". I can only assume it's specific to Iyo but that's pure speculations. Him disproving or stating that "content creators have to do it this way" or that "content creators like this aren't an example of this" is normal. Content creators have some sort of competitiveness and sometimes content creators do make these mistakes. After this situation resolves, we'll know the reason behind his behavior. Until that time comes, we should refrain from assuming what he should do.

Tbh I don't think Iyo really understand the FG terms that he used. I'm not a part of the FGC, not a professional FG gamer but I do play many FG like TK, MK, ST, DoA, DBFZ...and have learned many stuffs from my Japanese friends which include the "Kara cancel" a term originally created by Japanese "空キャンセル". Kara cancel and normal AC is 2 different thing. While AC mean u cancel the attack right after it hit to shorted the animation, reduce the combo time and increase dps, Kara cancel (which I believe is only used in FG) is cancelling a empty attack (kara in Japanese mean empty), an attack that not suppose to hit to shorted the distance between u and the opponent so u can hit them with the 2nd attack. Basically, in FG, pp will keep distance to not get hit by an attack but can still perform a counter hit if enemy get closer, like if u step 1 step forward u gonna get hit but u also need to step 1 step forward to hit the enemy and an attack in FG normally will have 3 phases: pre-attack, hit and recovery and for some attacks the pre-attack phase will move the character forward and this where pp take advantage of, when u perform an attack that the pre phase move the character forward and cancel it right away (before character perform hit animation) u will be in the range that can hit the opponent and by cancel the 1ft move u will be able to perform the 2nd move (most recommended move is grapple/throw, super f*king annoyed 😂) and hit the target before u get hit by a counter hit bc ur 1st move doesn't hit. And the funny thing is that he called normal AC in the guide with Jiyan where he just cancelled the animation but not the hit for movement "Kara cancel" is f*king hilarious for me.
