Honestly not part of the gacha community but listening to Gacha Smack i can tell hes charismatic as fuck. That editor fumbled the bag so hard. the fact the editor even remotely implied people were only there for their edits is insane.
@FearTheOldB5 ай бұрын
I interpreted it as "the results were good so the work I provided was satisfactory and I feel good about our collaboration going forward" I dont understand where in that comment the editor implied he thought it was all because of his edits? I think he only mentioned it because he truely doesnt understand why smack out of nowhere ended it when the vids were doing fine and his work was apparently good enough. Obviously smack is a narcissistic dude so I can understand from his perspective why he would immediately assume that. Smack is accusing the editor of spinning a narrative? Smack is doing the exact same by implying such a thing and sheep like you just copy it like good little fanboy yes men.

@FearTheOldB5 ай бұрын
Bro was trying to negotiate pay DURING HIS TRIAL. Even smack himself is laughing when saying "bro you didnt get fired you never even started". The editor was never really understand contract. He very politely asked if they could reopen the coversation as hes probably had some advice from others or had some time to overthink it. Smack couldve said nah this is what works for me take it or leave it and the matter wouldve been done with but he didnt even engage and just instantly acted like he did. Trust me, that never ever happens in real life.
@yunsha99865 ай бұрын
Smack admitted to paying the editor $150 for his work, so it was definitely not DAY 1... If we go by the rates of $500 for 30 days of work with 30 videos, that would equate to around 9 videos, Smack though also mentions he is paying him $30 per video so that might actually be 5. On Smack youtube channel uploads weren't being done everyday, so we can conclude this was spanned over more than 5 days at the very least. Wouldn't it be fair to say it was already the trial end?

But with you, Tectone, I don’t see any of that. To be quite frank, your commentary is a breath of fresh air. Many creators have this monotone reaction, either out of fear of saying too much or simply lacking personality. I don’t see that with you at all, and that’s why I enjoy your content. Around 22:50 in the video, I thought it was ridiculous to say you’re stealing content. On the hourly note, no one who's good at their job wants to be paid hourly either. Hourly rates punish people in skilled-labor careers for developing their skills and being good at what they do. I did freelance for a decade would turn down prospective clients who wanted to pay me hourly, didn't matter what the hourly rate was. Because I've always been good and able to work quickly, so to be fairly compensated I'd either have to lie about my hours or purposefully work slower.

My experience working with an indian girl is not great either. I was being super proffessional, discussed the details, divided our workload, asked for her opinions. During the project time she kept telling me there were some complications on her part (laptop not working, library not open, she didn't have access to a remote station, etc.) and made no progress on her part. I told her it's fine and I would be responsible for the majority of our project. Two days before the deadline she told me she fell down the stairs, couldn't work and needed rest. I still told her it's fine and replied with "hope you get well", giving the benefit of the doubt, and I would do the whole task myself. Day after day she sent me multiple emails urging me to complete the project then sent her the report for her to submit, stating that she would like maximum points. I told her it's fine and I would complete it on time. I did my work perfectly and we got a 100. She didn't send me any emails afterwards thanking me for my work, nor said hello to me on campus. I made a promise to myself to never work with an indian later on after this incident.
