Strangely enough here in Florida Orlando area a person at my daughter's church got bit by a mosquito and could not even talk. He husband rushed her to the hospital and she went into icu. When I lived in Florida years ago.. two children in my neighborhood were bitten by those black and white mosquitoes, they contracted the encephalitis and both children died from it. I remember seeing those strange looking mosquitoes in my area… it had really long black and white legs. One was dancing around my car window when I pulled into my driveway.. When they showed a picture of the mosquito on the local news, my heart skipped. If I had gotten out of my car right away. It probably would have bitten me!😮 I believe this story because the mosquitoes have been crazy this year.. they seem to be resistant to insect repellent and the bite re- occurs for the next three days! Doug nothing surprises me anymore and hasn’t since high school. My step dad was a pilot in the service during the 50’s and 60’s the things I over heard him talk about with his retired buddies in the 70’s made me sick about payloads that when I first learned about chem trails. No one would believe me. I’m in SC now and this year is the worst mosquito outbreak we have had on our 20 years on our property, and we are near the Carolina Bays. You can’t even go out during the day without long pants and sleeves and I am wearing my hunting cap with netting on it. I try to tell every it’s population control. I was bit head to toe by these mosquitos in 2014. I almost died. They called it neuroinvasive west nile viral encephalytis..............sounds like the same thing, but they are changing the name again. I live in Sutton MA next to Oxford. They sprayed by truck Anvil 10+10 and we had no choice. I was concerned about my garden, hummingbirds, pollinators, birds, my pets ect. so I covered everything. Another tip for those who don’t want bites from a skeeter … get some dryer sheets (preferably the ones with no scent or dyes) and rub them on your clothes and any exposed skin. Don’t expect one dryer sheet to be enough. I usually use about 3 or 4 just for me and after I’m done rubbing them all over, I then stick them in my pockets or tuck them into the sides of my shoes or even in the neck of my shirt. Leave them hanging out a bit as they do keep skeeters away… ✌🏻
