One is the case here… 1) Embiid is legitimately injured by re-aggravating his knee in the olympics/practice, or it was never fully healed and he played in the olympics anyway - for whatever reason - he played and won and had pride in playing for that medal. But now, at the start of the season, “ramping up”, is lacking transparency from the Sixers organization because if they come out and say that he’s injured then it would affect their ticket sales and Philly media/the fanbase would be in a uproar about the organization and Embiid’s decision to play in the olympics at all… OR 2) Which is more unlikely, but I wouldn’t put it past this franchise: Embiid’s not really injured at all, and money is at play to ensure that all of the details of their investigation wasn’t publicized in their “plan”, and Embiid is selectively choosing which games he wants to play per month to increase the likelihood of making it through the regular season into the playoffs ‘healthy’ (excluding back to backs). 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
