"Just like in the show" is a bit far fetched. It's a hightened sense of focus where you are somehow tuning everything irrelevant out. You are just completely absorbed by the game. But you don't become "Twice as fast" or stuff like that.

@@wavemoon the zone in the show is a combination of 2 things. Obviously nobody becomes "twice as fast", but the body has a natural limiter on our muscles to protect them. Muscles are essentially strings (that can shorten themselves). Any string/rope has a given amount of weight it can hold. Once you go over that weight, by just a single gram, the string/rope starts tearing, which reduces how much the string can hold, causing it to tear even faster, until it rips. Muscles are the same. That's why the body limits what you can do to roughly 70%. If as an example a muscle would rip at 100kg the body would not let them go beyond 70kg. This safety mechanism however can be turned off, usually in life or death situations. But it can also happen in sports. Muscle tears like pulled hamstrings in sports happen when the body either starts to disregard the safety mechanism (thinking it's life or death), or the force applied to the muscle is too much and too aprupt for the body to ease tension. The zone in KnB is essentially Flow State and that release of safety mechanisms during life-threatening situations combined. Obviously in a non-realistic way, but almost nothing in KnB is realistic, so yeah.

Yeah, if you have played any sport or even a competitive videogame at certain level or intensity you can reach the "zone" wich is a level of concentration where you just flow without trying to, if you dont to neither of these you can laugh because you haven't experienced it, me and my friend call it Zen mode for example when we play a videogame so good while we are talking in a call about a random topic at the same time where we can multitask while having the conversation normally and playing this good. Aomine got ridiculously nerfed in (and since) this match. Go compare his shots etc in this match vs the first one against Seirin. Not to mention that momoi (pink haired girl) got also nerfed. The entire game reeks of "the author wanted touou to be the final boss, but somehow editors or whatever told him the captain needs to be the final boss, so now he needs to nerf touou and have them defeated early".

and for anyone who thinks this game wasn't absolutely wrong: pay attention to the score while aomine is in the zone pre-kagami. He makes every shot, is shown to make a steal, then imayoshi also blocks izuki, and somehow there's only a 5-point difference, when there was a 3-point difference pre-zone. then add to it that a Kagami, that was barely able to stop aomine with a triple-team (while none of them are in the zone) suddenly can perfectly keep up with and even beat aomine when both are in the zone. That makes no sense whatsoever.

@@XpVersusVista exactly, especially with the fact that Aomine in the zone is almost twice as fast, how can Kagami keep up with him when without the zone he could barely do it? And how could Kagami block his shots? Aomine in the zone clash simply threw the ball in the only way Kagami could block by jumping forward, when normally he could have went for hooks or throwing the ball from bottom to top, or any other way outside Kagami's reach. Honestly the zone was pure used as plot armor because the author had no idea how to stop Aomine and Akashi. Without considering the fact that he didn't even let Midorima got into it because he would have been unstoppable.

12:41 Sounds like a play they'd save for like the end of the game so the team doesn't adapt to it too soon :3 I think the misdirection overdrive doesn't work if Koroko has the ball though- I think the way it works is that other people are disappearing BECAUSE he doesn't have the ball but is simulating making a play- which is why the screen flashes him each time someone vanishes, and he was worn out the most during the break despite never touching the ball (since he makes his presence loud everytime he's making someone vanish). It's cool how he found a way to make himself useful once he's no longer invisible ! I love how this show shows the adaptations teams make to other strategies throughout each game- which is what forces characters to grow the most (or lose and hopefully still grow from the lesson).

I agree with you, obviously I think that Aomine is stronger than Kagami, in a one on one Aomine would destroy anyone, and I think that Kagami was not ready to reach the same level as Aomine, however I think that the story is more influenced by the team than individuality, Aomine reached that level because he is a prodigy and his enormous talent playing alone, while Kagami reached it by playing as a team and for the team.

thing with misdirection is Kuroko has a weak presence so its tough to notice him running around during play, which he takes full advantage of with his misdirection (which is opponent' eye movements)... but once it runs out, everyone in the court are aware of him which makes them loose focus on others and seirin takes advantage of this while running the other direction where touou players are looking (which is at kuroko) like you know when you consciously try real hard to focus on someone cuz of his already weak presence and now that its run out, all you can see is the guy you were trying soo hard to focus on and forget about everything else? if you know what I mean? its a kind of slight of hand which takes advantage of opponent' FOV, and the only players you'll see it doesn't work is the one from Midorima' team cuz of his hawk eye and someone else in the future

Reaction channels are for something you already watched. The whole point is to get all their thoughts. Why would you want to watch people that keep their thoughts to themselves? And you might just be dumb because most of their predictions they get right are just basic things that are easy to see. They also get a ton of things wrong. It's interesting to see reactions to getting things right or wrong. This goes for every channel. I don't even like this channel that much.
