Ahh, at 1:11? Dante made a Judgement Cut (The name of the attack) to a Hell Gate. The real one, that was opened by Yamato to let demons pour through into the human world. Dante takes back Yamato at 0:57, which closed the Hell Gate, then Dante goes up top to destroy it. :)

@CRAnoobCRA this was the first game i owned on ps3 and the first devil may cry i had played it took me 8 hours playing it on the easiest level to beat it (i was working my way up since i never played it before) i need to dig it back out and play it again

Dante is the one with his trademark red coat, and in this vid, he's using Yamato (The katana) Which belonged to his older twin brother. XD Nero is the one with the blue jean jacket and Devil Bringer for an arm who tries to act all cool, but is nowhere near as awesome as Dante :P

It's fine :) It's a double barrel gun. Works just like a gun, except instead of one barrel it has two. So when you pull the trigger, two bullets come out, one from each barrel. Sort of like a double barrel shotgun, Dante has a double barrel shotgun called Coyote-A/

Haha, no. According to Capcom, Nero is Vergil's (Dante's older twin brother) son. Loooong story, and although I don't like it, it's viable. And Dante's hair is white because he's half-demon, half-human. I guess it's showing his demon heritage, since his demonic genes take over his human one, it cancels out the human gene, thus creating white.

Ahh, I was about to ask if you had ever played it, because if you had, you would understand :P but in a nutshell, that kind looking old priest guy is actually a power-hungry human become demon. Same with the congregation that he leads, the Order of the Sword, they are humans turned demons. Nero, the guy with the busted arm is part of the congregation, but has no idea of it's practices. Dante smashes through the window, kills the priest, Order sends Nero to take down Dante, Nero find out the

No, Nero is technically his nephew. Dante's twin brother is supposedly Nero's father, no one knows who the mother is though. Dante and Vergil's parents are the Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda, and a beautiful human mother by the name of Eva. Sparda disappeared years after Vergil and Dante were born, presumed dead. After that, the family was attacked by demons, massacring Eva before Dante's eyes, he was about 7-9. Vergil disappeared during the attack and was presumed dead.

You should play it then, play the 3rd one first, since it's the origin story, and the best one, tied with the 1st one, which is the one you should play after the 3rd one, and then play the 4th one, which is the one that this vid uses clips for. And yes, he is evil, and I can't really say yeas to the second one, because Dante shot him in the head and got his blood all over his face, so he was dead, but then the priest went through an ascension ceremony, which revived him >.

truth about the Order and that they want to take over the world. By the way, the priest is alive, and is even more power-hungry. They kidnap Nero. open the portal to the demon world, Dante destroys the portals/Hell Gates, saves Nero, and Nero kills the demon priest. THIS is DMC, not DmC, just so you know. This is the original series, not the reboot, which in my view, is a total disappointment :/
