Super fun. I spent a wonderful month living in Xela, learning Spanish and living with a local family. And I never even heard about the mountain slides. Well done.

Perfect Spanish language pronunciation. “Quetzaltenango” is a difficult word to pronounce, but you nailed it.

Nice video mate, but Xela is located in the Western Highlands of Guatemala (not north!)

I know maje , think he was using mexico as a Northern point reference so that being San Marcos and Quetzaltenango are the closest to the Mexico border . Saludos desde la capital del mundo

You kept saying this little town. I know it's a small city compared to the huge city, but in Guatemala it's the second largest city with over 300,000 people. I appreciate your video though!

It is called Cerro del Baul! Pronounced B- ah. ool

Nice video but I have to say Quetzaltenango it's not a small town like you said. It's the 2nd largest city in Guatemala and yes after 4pm the it do doesn't rain noon stop like you said it does rain but not every day or fires get cold cause of the altitude so dress warm...
@neilmarshall30717 ай бұрын
On a global scale it’s a small town.

They were closed because of the government response to the outbreak, not the outbreak itself. Sadly, the government took its cues from big business (therefore, the literal definition of fa$cism). Government also took cues from co-opted NGO’s. I trust you are well. Thank you for the informative video!
