Disturbed has a signature sound. it took me two decades to finally understand their method to that sound after being an avid fan for so long. the main components are vocals guitar and drums. the guitarist in his jam riffs (my style is the same) hits that low string in a groove with a bit of funk along with the follow notes. the drummers style and bands signature sound comes from that drummer hitting that bass drum nearly everytime the guitarist his that low chord. that's what gives their riffs so much punch to rock with in their songs. yes, it does change (I'm also a drummer), and no, he doesn't get bored because if you know how to play drums, it's a super fun and enjoyable double bass drum mix up. really really satisfying to play. I mean if we get into stuff that's the same beats then you guys would be out of a channel for reaction videos because most of the music these days sucks and all sounds the same as every other song. There's actually more variety in this one band musically than most commercial musicians in the world. won't exclude those amazing few though that are phenomenal writers and musicians. just not that many anymore
