Ren did make offers to Kujo aimed at benefitting everyone. He even offered to do a collab track where they'd split the profits 50/50, and Kujo said no. Can you imagine? Ren offers you a collab and you say, "No, I'd rather just be a dick and extort you for a previous track." It's crazy. Kujo could've been one of the boats that rises on the Ren tide -- think of what a Ren collab would've done for his profile and career -- but instead he sank his own boat with short-sighted greed. And what he's left with instead is a reputation for selling stolen beats and then trying to extort the artist he sold them to. Kujo has made a ton of bad decisions throughout this entire ordeal. As far as the video goes, I love that Ren brought in the choir as a reference to the sample that was stolen. And I love even more the symbolism of killing the choir half way through the video. It's like, "I don't even need you or your stolen sample." And he doesn't. I believe there may be some legal action and defamation lawsuits in the future (against Kujo, I mean) but, even if Ren loses "Sick Boi" forever -- as much as that would suck -- he doesn't need it. "Sick Boi" is one small drop in a huge bucket of music that flows from Ren. Regardless of how the legal wranglings around that one track turn out, Ren's already won. And Kujo, through his own actions, majorly fumbled the bag.

The copyright claim was from Kujo... not the Bulgarian choir. Kujo had used a clip FROM that choir without the choir's permission IN the beat he sold... so straight off, Kujo has breached contract (he had to own his track free and clear but he didnt). Kujo had copyright claimed Sickboi to hold his song and channel hostage. And yes, his gf got involved in the mess. Even joked about going to London to break Ren's kneecaps (hence "likes it rough")

As you are both well aware sick boi was a song that was about mental illness and the medical system that helped so many of RENs fans find strength I think that the choir lying on the floor looking dead was meant to be an interpretation of what would’ve happened to all of his fans is sick boi hadn’t been released and what it could mean in the future a whole pile of mentally ill people taking their lives perhaps? I only say this because I’m one of those people I suffer from multiple severe mental illnesses including bipolar borderline personality disorder schizophrenia, multiple personalities, panic disorder, anxiety, agoraphobia and more and been trying to take my life since I was 12 years old. I am now 51 and still battling it but I have found healing of my body and soul and mind through music which I indulged myself in at least 10 hours a day and I genuinely believe that I might not be here, without such honest and open songs about Mental health, which of there are so few but now thanks to Ren he is seriously helping to remove the stigma attached to mental illness and we all hear the words stigma when we talk about mental illness but unless you experience mental illness and see the way that people treat you differently to everyone else you don’t understand the meaning of the word stigma, it’s atrocious and all related to fear and lack of education on the subject of mental illness and Ren is helping to educate people for which I am eternally grateful. Also the sample of the beat that was stolen was actually of a German choir. That’s why he included a choir in the video.

The girlfriend acted all amicable in a social convo with Ren then the next day went on Rens SubReddit and started posting completely made up contract passages from the Sick Boi beat license contract/agreement. She earned every bit of this. Also, in short, Kujo was pissed because he was not getting paid what was rightfully owed to him because the people hired to handle Rens publishing F'd it up initially. However the "REAL" delay was prolonged because Kujo used a sample he had not licensed and the owner of the original came after Ren(his people) for their split. Rens people rightfully went back to Kujo telling him he needed to absorb their request for a percent(for the sample use) out of his percent as he never cleared the sample and was required by the original contract. Kujo said NO so Rens people held up Kujos share till they resolve who was going to cover the unlicensed sample. Ren was willing to be amicable even though he was not responsible (UNLESS Kujo can bring receipts that he notified Ren or his people at the time of Beat license purchase they they needed to clear the sample in the beat - I have seen no such receipt), but Kujo said NO. Based on the contract info I saw it looked like Kujo will end up absorbing the percent that the choir is demanding meaning he will get less, but then get his remaining publishing $. Then that will be it. Ren will redo the song on his own and Kujo will get nothing else ever again.
