This video seriously brings me so much joy. I am the director of this film, and our number one goal, when we started this project was to make a film that people who had never heard GWAR would enjoy. I loved the fact that they were nerds too ha! Thanks for taking time to watch our film, your channel is awesome, dude. Great work!

I had heard that there was a doc in the works forever ago, and I cannot believe it is actually happening. People always have laughed at the fact that I adore GWAR as much as I do, but once I start talking about (with my limited knowledge) Mike Bishop having a PhD, how they make all their own costumes, etc, it brings me such joy to see them begin to see & appreciate GWAR in a new light. @Scott Barber, I appreciate you more than you will ever know for making this and I am super bummed I somehow missed the opportunity to stream it during the festival. However, I CANNOT wait to see it! Any idea of when it might possibly become more widely released for purchase, VOD, streaming, etc? I looked for hours last night for more info, but only saw "2022"

Scott and company of GWAR. 8 years ago or maybe 9, I was sidewalk dumpster diving the streets of Kansas City on “big trash pick up day” when I came across a binder of drawings titled “scumdogs of the universe” drawn in body parts. When I opened it up I was blown away. There were several different categories divided by planets. Each planet had a ruler, an adversary, and soldiers (I think) here js where it gets re-dick-u-lus…. 1st planet. Planet dick. Ruler? King Dick-a-nuts. Drawn, and then underneath “King dick-a-nuts is 12 feet tall and is deadly with his double edged axe but if he’s ever without it he can club people to death with his massive 3 foot 155 pound dick.” Planet pussy- it’s villain? A giant pussy lion. A pussy lion is like a normal lion but with a giant vagina for it’s face. Same lion teeth. Just, more pussy. I made copies of king dick-a-nuts and posted them all over Westport in Kansas City Missouri with my phone number saying “do you know this artist? Call me” and waited. Went in to work a week later at the bar I worked at when the dj for that night told my do worker about how someone found his drawings from 20 years ago and made flyers. I found him! I know this is a long response but it’s worth it and the story rules!

I just discovered them recently, and I wonder how the F I never heard of them before. Last week I heard on the radio that they're playing in my city in October. I got my ticket and now have to suffer the wait to see GWAR!!!

The fact this was only available to view to residents of the U.S. was a huge kick in the teeth to those of us living outside the states. I have loved GWAR for over 30 years. Will this get a Blu-ray or streamable release anytime soon?

I've been a fan since the early 90s and I can assure you there is nothing in the world like a Gwar show. Go see them live. The mosh pit may look intimidating for those who aren't used to it, but no one is out to hurt you. It's crazy in there, but it's full of good people who will pick you up if you fall.

I’m a huge GWAR fan. I’ve been listening to their music and going to their shows for the past 29 years. Crazy, right? I’ve even gotten the privilege of becoming friends with a few of the band members/artists. I also, from time to time, work with Techno Destructo for his wrestling gigs as his “steampunk time-traveling lawyer”. It’s a lot of fun. I hope one day, I may be invited on stage to be killed by them. It would be an honor.
