Hi! Adult on the spectrum with OCD here! It 10000% is a thing for completion of things. But the problem is most of us also have severe ADHD. So the combination makes us struggle with the placement of items. For instance, I have sensory issues eating and drinking things. I have to force my meals most of the time. So it takes me FOREVER to eat. But I cannot have things in my space. So I have to move them away and then go back because they’re not “finished”. It’s a whole thing lol. And I promise, I’m not just making this up. I’ve done the therapy since childhood and all of the things and for whatever reason this is one of the things I have not been able to break. When unfinished things are in my “space”, my brain subconsciously goes crazy. Even when I try to deny it. That actually makes it worse. So it just has to move lol

I understand this so much haha here in Calgary Canada we finally got a chick fil a and we waited a little to let the crazy to calm down but I was so excited to go. It was definitely worth the hype but our first try kinda got messed up because we got rear-ended just after we left, we need to go back and maybe eat inside since it's in the opposite end of the city.

A chicfila open in Burlington ON about one month ago, it is still like opening day, the drive thru diverted south thru the adjacent driveway and you go around the next block of store and return to the front of that lineup and waited to be waved into the double lane drive at the Chic Fila. We might be able to go next year.

Hi, I used to live in the Oregon town where Dutch Bros originated. I also do not like Starbucks, but love the plain coffee from Dutch Bros. Glad to hear they have expanded to Florida. They also have the best customer service and you can expect there to always be a line at the stores.

You are so right about OCD and finishing things. My daughter (now deceased) had OCD, and she always had to be the last one to clap while watching a performance. She also had to finish the last of any food items!

For the most part, I too like just coffee. The thing that irritates me, due to heath issues, I should only drink decaf…, Starbucks being a “coffee shop” cannot accommodate my request for a decaf coffee. Yes, you read that correctly. Yes we are obsessed with our coffee here in the US. But I totally agree with you Starbucks do burn their beans . I love small caff shops. And since we living in Italy for 7 yrs we only drink espresso in our home! Delonghi is out coffee maker if choice. My husband calls her Precious!

Just a heads up Dutch Bros has the BEST chocolate milk and the BEST hot chocolate! They have different flavors but I highly recommend the white chocolate in both the hot chocolate and the chocolate milk!

I'm 50 years old and STILL haven't developed a taste for coffee. The only way I'll drink it is when it's more sugar and whipped cream and other stuff than coffee and then I STILL prefer a drink with no coffee whatsoever (like I'll go with my husband and kids and take a sip of their coffee drinks with STUFF but always prefer mine with JUST the STUFF. My Starbucks order is that of a six year old. Cilla taking so much time to plan the order just killed me. You guys are the best.

i cleared out my daughters room for this reason. i have her clothes on a shelf and a hanging rod with a plastic drawer thing under to hold all of her shirts... pants... tank tops .... socks... bras... everything. I do hang her tops in her room and i have the closet with a snap on lock . otherwise the dresser was tipped the clothes were EVERYWHERE.... she now has her bed. which i had to take out the actual bed and got a crash pad with sheets and stuff and she LOVES it. she has a toy box with a FEW toys in it that she'll play with but i think it just took away all of that stimulation and she does much much better. i put a few floor chairs in with throw pillows and soft blankets. she does so well now.

When you were living in Oregon was there a Bentley's? It's even better than Dutch brothers. I was a Dutch brother queen for years. But in the Salem area has a few. It's a tiny bit more expensive and the great quality. If you ever come back for a visit you have to try it!!!

Dutch bros not only brews their coffee, they roast their own beans as well. They use syrups in their flavored drinks just like everyone else does but their coffee is coffee
