A terrible idea unless you plan to never light it. Very fun as decor but there's no way that plastic is fireproof and it's probably super toxic when it burns cuz of how cheap that stuff is...I think this idea would work better if you made his 'bath' be a candy bowl if you want it to still be a usable item.

Religious candles aren't always unscented. They do have rose scented for the virgin de guadalupe and a few others. Also they have blank ones that don't have the religious designs. I really do think this is an awesome idea and I can't wait to try it out.

I'm sure folks that don't plan on being near whenever the candle is enjoyed, you can always use a larger bowl.. or even place wicks or body away from each other. It's a really cute idea. And with each own creative flare it's a 10 from me.

Plastic has a way higher melting point than candle wax, and it's unlikely that candle wax would get hot enough unless you're using specific types and doing the insane thing of bringing the candle up to boiling before doing the transfer. And even then it depends on the type of wax.

If you line the bowl with foil and maybe just use one wick in the middle would be ok cause a single wick is not going to melt the wax all the way to the edges! I am going to make one with these alterations.. Love this! Its not a terrible idea..just needs a little tweek lol! Happy Halloween !

This is extremely cute but buying already made candles is absolutely unnecessary and absolutely more expensive than just buying unscented wax from a craft store or online.

@@emiilyjaane7 I've literally never met someone who does only 1 craft like this, so it makes way more sense to just buy unscented wax, something that has a long shelf life. Also where are you getting your craft supplies??? You can get entire pounds of unscented candle wax for less than 10 dollars. Even at places like Hobby Lobby. Especially since now's the time of the year that stuff goes on sale. This is absolutely a waste of money to buy premade candles and you are increasing the danger because you now have to remove a hot glass container from boiling water.

Looks like the terrorist puppet by jeff dunham, but to each their own. Secondly this is a bad idea, hot glue melts and it's making the plastic fall in and burn.
