I think everybody forgets that Arabia gets a better university in the classical era, an entire era before everybody else in the game gets their pathetic, normal universities. Early campuses produce so much science for Arabia because of that. Very powerful.

From my experience it's entirely luck based. AI lately has been going so hard for GS that the only way to get them on a good regular basis is basically going Maya or Korea and rushing writing. Like my science games with Netherlands, unless I use Heroes and Legends by the time I get my first campus online computers are already making like 3-8 points already! Other than that it's get to the late game and recruit as many as you can on deity.

I sit on my great prophets on a regular basis. Get him out early with one or two Holy Sites, then focus on other priorities for a while, then once all or most of my core cities are established with holy sites I found my religion. That’s a good strategy.

Something seems wrong with your science - you have 40-50% more than you should for much of this game. There's a bug or some mechanic that it would be great to understand. Odd things with science: 04:02 - Science 14=>28 - nothing to explain this even the population is constant turn 88=>89 14:52 - Science 40=>23 - mid-turn at the instant you create a new city Aleppo (I think 23 is about right given pop, captial, city states, pingala+15%) 26:29 - Science 49=>77 - hard to tell due to edits but I think all you did was plug Natural Philosopy (+6) between the turns shown 31:05 - Science 96 - you can see the breakdown - 22 from Beliefs ! (what is this?, you have no religion and Divine Spark was the pantheon), 33 from Cairio seems to high even with city states + library, 28 from Hons too high even with Pingala level up There are only a few tiles with science and some city state bonuses at various points but still......
