I stumbled into new ways of thinking after my mother passed and the toxicity of religion and its choke hold on me became clear. I cannot begin to tell you how much this video has helped me. I have taken so many notes from your wisdom. Thank you for teaching me how to stand in my power and receive Source energy. I’m grateful!

I was raised in the Christian faith and married a Christian man so for 50 years but am spiritual too. When I was in the garden, I had my best conversations with God (myself). Nature is my fav church. I know some people in religions seek to control but not all religious people desire this. Many refer to us as a direct mirror of God but it is the last mirror to be recognized by us. When Christians speak the mantra "be still and know I am God", read the Word regularly and have the words "written on our hearts and in our minds", we begin to have a relationship as a child of God which eventually leads to our personal truth. We step into our spiritual power through our belief (faith). Spiritual awakening happens to Christians too. So just another way of saying what you are saying. I understand there is Science that explains the process. I go to church because religious tradition means something to my husband and because it is a form of community. I am not an island unto myself. I hear your core message though. Peace in Christ

I’ve been having such a hard time with this subject. I pray every night and I struggled to find a way in not to pray in a traditional religious way and even if I should change it. However, now I have a path and the empowerment and strength to really talk to the universe. Not in a guilty catholic way but in a safe, loving positive energy way. Perhaps one day you can guide us in a group prayer. I love your spirit Christina

Hey Christina! Yes, I mentally pray throughout the day. I make up my own prayers, such as: "God, Source, and I are One in mind, heart, and body"! "I ACCEPT all the Love, Joy, and Abundance of Good that the Universe has for me now". I learned that because we have been given free will, we need to ASK (and you shall receive). As a "Light Worker", I ASK for God's Love, Light, and Power of Good to come down into planet Earth, and ALL that lives here....and now especially the Ukraine and Russia area!! Thanks for your good work, Christina!! Tom from USA.

I pray every morning during one hour as a rule otherwise I can't live my day and I'm lived by the day without any mastery of the mind that can be entrapped in people perspectives which are not mine. It's easy to be bamboozled by something that doesn't exist within us therefore I pray to be honest with myself even if sometimes I can be aloof or moody but It's me and my spirit guides ask me to be myself even if sometimes I'm bad-tempered. They want to recognize me as I am and not what I should be. I like to ask ( I call it the big mystery) to know more each day about my presence on earth because sometimes I wonder ! Thank you

I was introduced to my first of your videos 1 week ago. Ever since then, I've been on my journey. You've literally described "the way" about me, how I've lived and addressed all of my questions. All I knew was I've been different than everyone else. Until Monday I have never excepted this "hippy dippy BS" because everyone who has ever tried to introduce it to me, gave me a vibe that they weren't true in there actions vs their words. So there was one of those blocks. Then here you are..... As I'm a pretty structured individual myself, it's almost as if you literally made your videos for ME. You have amazing delivery and execution of every topic in the exact way I needed it. Spiritual awakening, ascension....everything is outlined for me and now I feel confident in the way I am. Justification is huge to me because I'm constantly questioning myself over the last 3 months. I guess it just goes to show how real all this is for me when I've been and done so much of what you're teaching and I'm learning about it so late in life! Thank you so much for making sense of all the crazy!

I certainly agree with this about prayer... it certainly is a way to focus intention and have a conversation with source... often people do prayer as a talking ritual, but not listening. But listening is a key to this. What I've noticed is that not always the communication from source is not always in the moment during prayer, it can come later as in dreams, or times in normal day-to-day life when the communications comes as intuition or it just hits you out of nowhere... Yes, the Practice of prayer takes time to develop. Thank you Christina I continue to learn, grow, and be inspired from your content on your channel.

Thank you for reminding me of these spiritual lessons❣️I learned this on my own after having been raised a pretty strict Catholic. I had an awakening in my teenage years as I would meditate (Yes. on my own in the early 70’s) on my back porch at night and look at the stars. I knew there was not an outside God, but went to Emerson’s “Oversoul” concept, because it was the closest thing I knew, since I had, and still have, a love of literature, so I was reading Whitman, Emerson, and others deeply at 15 or 16, and then became a high school English teacher. My dream career! However, I became chronically ill 21 years ago from having childhood illnesses and exposure to toxins. Now, at 69, I have Lyme infections, and am pretty disabled, so I pray quite a bit! 🙏 Thank you❣️

An important part of prayer that is easy to forget about is to listen, and to truly listen we need quiet and peace. Prayer through just quietly feeling the emotions of the heart. It seems a lot of the religions emphasize the talking part and not the listening part. A conversation needs both to be meaningful. Thank you Christina for this wonderful videos and all you share with us. We are all grateful for you.

This has been something it’s taken me awhile to get to - I grew up Catholic, so there’s a specific prayer for every single thing. I didn’t “not like” Catholicism, but I didn’t fully resonate with it either. As I’ve grown and developed, I’ve found that I really love the ritualistic aspect of it (which I’ve pulled pieces into my current practice, despite not identifying with a monotheistic religion). This video is a great description of both sides of prayer (religious v spiritual) as well as a fantastic map for putting that into practice. The four steps are awesomely helpful! 💖

Wowowow this is the best explanation and perspective I’ve ever seen from both sides of the fence. I was raised in a very religious home but God, as I was taught Him, never felt close to me and prayer felt more like begging with hit and miss results. Meditation taught me who I am and brought real RELATIONSHIP with the Divine, and continued communication with Spirit has led me to the most wonderful insights, information and perspectives, and most importantly, a real love and appreciation for all aspects of the Divine, all Beings, and more respect and love for all the interpretations of God within religions despite how far they’ve all strayed from their original intent and what they’ve d/evolved into. Being led to this video is a massive confirmation for me of a question/conversation I recently had with my Higher Team. I hadn’t prayed regularly in so long I felt I was doing it wrong at first because my prayers are so informal and seem more like mini check-ins on a running conversation than prayers, but this truly confirms for me that they ARE being heard and answered. Thank you for sharing your light and wisdom, it is truly needed as more and more awaken. Blessed be Namaste 🙏🏾

Thank you for breaking it down so simply. I’m coming from the religious world of fear based prayers. I still find myself about to thank the false good I previously worshipped for my plate of food that I fixed. I wasn’t sure how to pray, who to pray to, etc as a spiritual person.

From early childhood, I had always talked to God like a best friend. Every time I tried to do it like my church or family said, I felt angst. Since my awakening I just always talk. If I’m washing dishes or any task that is mindless work I’m having conversations with God or the Universe (my preference because it is not patriarchal). Sometimes I get so into this space I feel my feet may lift off the floor with the bliss of it. I just never thought of this as prayer. Prayer was basically a shopping list. 😆I find affirmations work great for “shopping lists”. 🙏❤️📝🗣 Thank you again Christina for a most enlightening video.🤗❤️

I have recently, in the last 18 months and after 45 years, left the religion of my youth and young adulthood. I have missed that connectivity to the Divine. I met with a dear friend of mine, who has also left the same religion, and we were discussing the positive changes that have occurred in our lives. When I mentioned missing prayer, and that I had no clue how to go about it now, she shared this video with me. What a blessing and gratefulness! I will practice these steps and open myself to my spirit guides. I look forward to having connection with my Higher Power again.

While traditional forms of prayer may be from a perspective of "helplessness" or avenues for clerical control over people, there are many other types of "religious" prayer that is "other" centered (intercession) acknowledging the greatness of the Creator (adoration) or prayers of thanksgiving.

I appreciate this helpful video. As a dedicated seeker, some things came up for me as points of attention which I respectfully share. One, I do feel that religion was represented in the video in terms of the Old Testament. In the New Testament, God is the loving father and the main focus is to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. I also find myself not able to wholly agree with your use of the word “powerlessness.” I look upon this more as developing appropriate humility to the omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience of Source rather than accepting that any of us is truly powerless. As far as standing in one’s power, isn’t that power given from Source? And standing in it is just an affirmation of the gift of our power, again with appropriate humility for its origin and the Grace of it? It is my understanding from 2 decades of study in yoga that old prayers said over time immemorial contain accumulated power, like the Maha Mrityunjaya or The Lord’s Prayer, as well. Would this not be a good reason to use them? And lastly you mentioned co-creation. Isn’t the only real way to co-create with Source or God to bring oneself into the more non-linear realms through practices like gratitude, positive and peaceful affirmations and radiating one’s Unconditional love to all rather than personal power alone? My intention by posting this is to learn. Please know I mean no offense as it is obvious from your content you are a highly valuable and exceptional spiritual teacher. If you choose to delete my thoughts and questions, no offense taken. Thank you for the good work that you do. Blessings. 🙏🏻🔥❤️

This was very interesting Christina! What I found most intriguing was that all the explanations you gave of prayer in the context of spirituality is how I was taught prayer in Christianity. It’s interesting to see how we’re taught religion differently and the way that has shaped our journey. I’m glad I’ve always understood prayer this way and many of us are coming into the light of it all. Stay blessed girl!

Thank you Christina for this amazing video just like the others, many years ago I wasn’t allowed in church because I’m gay and Gay ppl are no good by Religion so I became Spiritual, I pray every day as I learned in religion but I practice direct conversation with God, just like you said on this video, I use Nature to connect with source Universe by walking my dogs I have a conversation with god one on one, drive to the Beach walk to connect to spirit guides, walk barefoot to connect with mother nature and by doing that I can hear and see my spirit synchronization with them plus instante answers from Divine , prayers work and so it is. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 blessings to you 😉

hmmm....when your third eye is opend (your higher conciousness) there is automaticly a connection with devine source. when u live on that blissfull higher state of being and level of higher vibration and connection. then prayer is not needed at all and source instantly guides and hears u through feeling and compassion(praying and saying your a devine being is good, but aknowledging and knowing it to be truth is key)...following your intuition is what u need and the willingness to be guided. (thats what my mind tells me....) therefor if ur willing i like to recomment THE SCIENCE OF BEING GREAT | FULL AUDIOBOOK | WALLACE D. WATTLES Timeless Knowledge

Wow, was just talking about prayer last night, sharing with friends our different perspectives of what exactly it is. Seems I am on the right track.... Things can only get better from here

Yes Christina, so agree, and this resonates so well, the only thing I could possibly add to this as a crystal therapist, is to get a Fulgarite crystal, as it amplifies a person's intention, and the outcome you want
