Some of you may be wondering why i haven't created any videos for a long time. The reason is because I was having issues with my voice, it started with a bit of a husky voice towards the end of 2022.
During 2023 its started to gradually get worse, by October, i was slurring my speech. Something definitely wasn't right, and I saw a neurologist.
After months of testing i was finally diagnosed ALS in FEB 2024. In this video I want to show you how Progressive Bulbar Palsy (branch of ALS) has affected my voice.

I think you are tremendously brave for showing the world what you are going through. My grandpa (mother’s dad) died from ALS in 1971. I am so glad that I stumbled onto to you! No pun intended! 😂

You are a wonderful human being. Prayers being sent. It's just a tiny idea. If you can record certain words you use often and as many as possible. Instead of exerting yourself. You can use a computer to say your word, but it still can be your voice for most of it. I know they were talking of trials, I hope if there are if your up to it to try to get in on them. May God bless you and you not be in pain. Try to enjoy what beauty you can in the moment. Many say live in the moment. ❤

@BrokeTheInterweb I'm so sorry .yes I know there is . I actually had an amazing neurologist who had ALS. That's why I mentioned trials we had spoken before he left and set me up with Dr's he trusted for me. I have a rare disease that I'm on treatments for and also was in 2 car accidents with perm injuries. . I know fighting for my rights all these years has been hard, and I have totally taken an emotional hit destroying me from them . My mom just went to heaven for me. It seems like yesterday, but it wasn't. So I have a harder time doing without her, my cheerleader. I pray you get to squeeze in what you want in life to do, and I always pray for miracles for people to. God bless you always. I had just been scrolling that day and saw you for the first time. You're quite the man.

Hi, I don't mean to be rude or to belittle what you are going through. If you have to suffer so badly while your mind stays present, maybe, and I don't know, but maybe finding a mantra you can repeat in your mind may help you. Just repeating a mantra might help to have something helpful to focus on when you can't alleviate your suffering in other ways. I'm sorry if this reads like victim blaming. I will pray for you. I believe in God and prayer.
