The community only has a finite amount of money. It's like an ecosystem . So the more cons and shitty shiny exclusives are pumped into the market out of hotel rooms by influencers , the amount of money to buy real books goes down in exact proportion . People will wake up at some point in the future and look around and say , why did i buy these ? I can't even get half my money back . Meanwhile the Influencers will be counting their stacks of money and looking at the key issues they bought with your money.

Seems to me that Blake Lively is the obvious choice for Lady Deadpool ... not just because she's RR's wife - it's a role that IMO she'd be able to convincingly pull off. Besides, even if Taylor Swift wanted to do it, her advisors/management would never allow "America's sweetheart" to risk alienating any part of her fanbase by being a part of something with raunchy dialog. She's a money making machine with lots of moving parts.

They've pushed all those books, and the prices have all crashed. Yet, they keep doing it...and they know it too. Spec on movie tie ins is ridiculous and misleading.
