Awesome work Dave! I always have trouble getting slimeys off Noosa.. 9 times out of 10 it's just yakkas for me. Care to share any good spots? :) Or are you just getting them at the spots your fishing, like the 50m zone here?

It's totally random with the slimy's mate. They just show up sometimes where I get yakkas. This marlin actually ate a small Bonito which I jigged up at the same spot. I like to jig up what they are actually feeding on.

Noticed you used the Daiwa 21LD. When you were reeling the marlin, there was a knocking sound everytime you stopped reeling. Is that from the free play from the handle?

It's a Daiwa LD40 and it has too much play in the reverse lock at the moment. Needs a service.

@@SoloAngler I think its like that. I have the LD20 and it has the exact same issue but Daiwa said its normal for the double gears. I should have gotten the single gear.

Anyone else see the fins in the upper right corner of the screen at the 48 second mark? Again at 3:12. Very fishy area!!!

That's a dolphin. They are usually where the high bait schools are.
