I'm trying this smaller one before the big Ole 9x12. Selling $250 per ad. Posted in a few fb local business groups and have had lots of messages. Not going to lie I'm nervous at the thought of collecting money and then not having enough businesses on the card. But finally started instead of just being a fly on the wall. Fingers crossed

As long as you have enough to break even I would suggest putting the card out. get used to going through the process and once you have a few businesses going you might even get some testimonials.

Jake, Hi. Thanks🙂. I began calling what I thought were 9x12 printers. Most said no, they said due to granularity. I don’t understand. And, you would be surprised how many rich-but-cheapskates live in apartments. OR, they were advised to rent a place while renting out the homes they own. EVERY (as far as I know) 9x12 veteran doesn't use any contract or agreement. Unless you're doing long term contracts like 6 months, 1 year, etc. Because of legal wording and things that might vary by state, I woudln't be able to give you a legal contract for where you live but if you really really want one --- you can actually just ask chatgpt "write me up a simple, legal agreement for my 9x12 postcard ad space for my business owner clients" or something to that effect, and it'll shoot out good stuff most of the time!

Usually it's fine! If it doesn't look blurry you should be good, yeah actually just putting their logo changes the whole look of the ad while still maintaining consistency because it's a templates format so you're good

you're better off using overseas designers for your ads, I highly recommend a guy named aminur, [e-mail]. I specialize in solo postcard design as doing 9x12 ads is too much a workload for us personally. Hire it out!

HELP! Is the 10th of the month a good deadline to give local businesses for the next mailer, if I want to get the monthly mailer out just before the 1st of the month? Yes, same number of advertisers and same amount of work. But sometimes the challenge for people is asking $500 plus. This gives you a way to offer a very low price point that can be a lot easier for people who aren't confident enough to ask for more yet. Also because of the tight seasonal window of New Year's, it has a lot of built-in urgency, so for a business owner to only spend a couple hundred dollars and naturally have to make a decision immediately just makes it an easier sell.

It's a stupid way to think if you are in business seriously. It's a small investment to get more business so they can get more cashflow. Its not going to be free. Do they give their services for free and expect no payment? That's why most fail and are broke. Backwards thinking. The same money they will buy on junk or wine and spirits games...going out to eat bs etc. If they cant see the value move on. Last thing. If the ad is $250 and the average cost of the product or service is $10 to $25 .. the will need to make 10 sales to get their HUGE INVESTMENT BACK for $25 and 25 sales of $10. Simple math . They get exposure and brand recognition not to mention lifetime value and referrals
