I love what you did with the little nook (paint, paintings, etc) - really, really beautiful! It is an interesting challenge for you and R, to find an acceptable alternative to his desire for a noisy home environment and your need for a peaceful, serene one. I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. But, the now problematic piece of the Swedish school purchase. Oh dear, I’m so sorry to hear about that. It seems you’ve been through so much lately, and now this. Well, as I understand it, there’s some possibility that the problem will more or less resolve itself, and you will know in a month. So, I will be patient and keep my fingers crossed for you, hoping deeply that everything will work out for you.

I would like to see the toilet of curiosities. Try not to stress over the real estate deal. Often I have found that if things were not coming together as I would like for them to, it was because there was something better for me on the horizon. Don't push it---enjoy your space in the farmhouse---but don't wait until it's too late to request your earnest money back. By the way, I love the farmhouse. It's very charming.

Hi Margaret, I do strongly believe in that too. It's still difficult to not feel stressed though;) We just fell in love with this property so we still hope that things will work out for this one and in the mean while I do definitely enjoy everything over here. I also love this farmhouse too!

Another comment to add that I am in love with the painting of the young woman in green in the dark frame. Is that an older version of Rogier's sister?

No it is not, I actually found that painting on marketplace and the frame I found in the thrift store. I do like that painting too because she has a very interesting face.

I realize this is a month old but could that bag be a lunch bag? You said it seems waterproofed.. or something to carry cold drinks? Anyway, I was thinking.. you could put some dried wildflowers or seed pods in the bag.. I think it would look so beautiful next to your paintings..

Yes that definitely could be, I do think that it being for drinks is more likely than for food. The flowers are a nice idea! Will keep that in mind!

Hi, I don't know if you have followed along in the last couple of months? Lots has happened and because of those things I do not see any of my family members anymore. So that's the reason for Nolan not being here anymore. I do have a very strong feeling that I will see him again when he is all grown up though and I am just holding on to that feeling right because I miss him a lot.
