I've just started dabbling in this kind of treasure hunting" for mtg cards myself. No luck so far either, but most stores I've checked say that they typically keep mtg cards behind the counter at the jewelry/valuables section. Ever had luck checking there?

Yes more videos like this. You’ll learn to smooth the editing edges as you continue to make these. Thrift stores, farmers market if you have one, trips to the lgs if Canada isn’t being prude. These are the type of videos that your subs will watch, and people from the algorithm will watch. You even got it down pack so far with the light music, cinematic shots from store to store. And you aren’t afraid to be on camera

Nice to take a cruise with the Mattcaster. Your co-pilot did a great job filming :-). Going to keep an eye out at garage sales, I remember watching my brother sell his collection in the early 2000’s at a garage sale for 10-20 bucks, I know he had a couple duel lands and a pretty good collection. I didn’t let my cards go, kept them in the shoebox Diamond hands lol

I went to the second value village you went to in the video this past weekend. I found a random bag of old pokemon and digimon cards so I decided to grab it and there was a goddamn first edition base set Machamp in there!!! Happy hunting!!!

Great video! Value Village looks exactly like Savers down in the States, even down to the way they bag cards and the same price tags. I check all the time and never find MTG, but you never know right?

You claimed it was disorganized, but all the stores you visited were disturbingly clean. Thrift stores in the states are usually ancient buildings with a nice patina of dust.

in all honest tho, i know where store #3 is, i went there once and saw some sleeved cards, bought it but it ended up being just random junk and a few useless pokemon cards :(
