This Is How I "Practice" Guitar!

Here's a video of what it might sound like when I practice guitar (sort of).
In this video I improvise for about 6 minutes where I test different specific phrases.
I often get asked:
How do you practice guitar?
Do you have a practice schedule?
How often do you practice?
The truth is, I almost never practice. By practice I mean: playing scales, chords and theoretical concepts up and down the fretboard. Nothing wrong with this and this is something I have done and still do on occasion. However, not often.
Mostly I just play and jam where I test different licks and phrases.
I always focus on my timing and rhythm.

Quick question: How do you remember them -- the ones you like and want to recreate or use again (because after testing it, you like it)? Do you record and then save snippets? I test different licks and phrases often, and happen upon some good ones. But by the next day, usually -- woosh! -- they are gone; I just can't remember them. Would love to hear your solution... Love how you almost hit some bebop lines in your turnarounds. I heard some alternate dominate lines, hitting that 7b9 over the V chord. Really tastefully done and you never seem to over play

Very nice. Quite often the blues is a sequence of cliches and I get bored. But you held my interest the whole way through. You limited the stock turns and phrases. I'm thinking you could play Twisted Tits off Zappa's Funky Nothingness. I'm pining for someone to improvise in that style. I love Frank's solo work but it doesn't seem to resonate with guitarists.
