I just wanted to give y'all a glimpse into how I train and practice! This video is different from what I typically upload, but I thought it could help inspire and motivate some of you! In this video, I try chaining some back flips and learning some new tricking basics (like the scoot to cork).

Hey y'all! This video is a little different - it's kinda vlog style - I wanted to give you all a glimpse into how I practice and train! I'm not perfect, but hopefully I can help motivate and inspire y'all to get out there with me! Also, sorry about the poor audio and wind, haha. Keep on rockin' and stay flippin' awesome y'all.

Hell yeah, Christopher! Just found your channel after seeing your Kip Up tutorial in the sidebar of my kip-up tutorial. Good stuff, you're making me want to start tricking full time again! I've been so busy with stunts, that tricking and PK have taken a back seat.. but you're reminding me of that feeling I get when it's just me and the grass.. Subscribed, brotha!

I know I'm one person out of a ton of followers but what can you suggest when it comes to strength in the ankles and wrists. I have weaker joints I feel, which means that if I injure one of those to areas I have to wait a while to recover and can't keep practicing for a little bit.
@thewiseowl8804
@thewiseowl8804 7 жыл бұрын
+Robert King Stretch both before and after training. Put a bit of pressure on your wrists while stretching but not too much to hurt them. Roll at your ankles, you could practice calf raises too. Also, even if it may seem obvious, eat healthy and sleep the right amount so you are agile, aware, and strong. Hope that helps! :)

I think you could! Mentally, your body may still remember the movements, but physically you will have to train. Focus on gaining back strength and flexibility - then start with the basics and work your way back into it!

Hey man, really nice vid :) Was wondering if you could help me out So basicly 6 weeks ago i broke my foot of joints, but i trained it up for 4 weeks before doing any freerunning/tricking. But 2 weeks ago i tried to get back at it, and it's like my head is blocking me from doing any tricks. i cant screw at all, my momentum sucks, im not getting hight, and even my normal backflip on ground is totally off and i cant land it. But the thing is... that i dont feel like i do anything differently at all. :(( But i do not think it's because of my foot, because i dont feel difference on my legsor feet at all. (15 years old boy and been doing Freerunning/tricking for 1,5 years now) Please help me out if you can ^-^
@ChristopherTungFlips
@ChristopherTungFlips 7 жыл бұрын
Hey man! I'm sorry to hear about that; injuries really do suck! I remember back in the day I had a mental block, and it felt like all my tricks were off. Sometimes the best thing to do is take a breather, train, and don't let the discouragement get to ya. Focus on getting back those basic moves and build from there; it's possible that the long break has made ya rusty. Best of luck!
