My dad is gone now but it made me tear up. Ok it made me cry. He used to take me and my sisters and brother to the drive in in the summer and it would be a big camp out in the back off his truck. Amelia or Huguenot park in Jacksonvillehas perfect beaching for vehicles and ability to fish. Lotta jeepers come out and have rigs to cast and leave on their mounts until they get a bite. @@noona7701 Username only tells you I'm an atheist. Yes, it does matter whether he believes in a god or not. Why would you say that to an atheist? Do you think "god bless you" is a magical phrase that does something special? Of course it has nothing to do with whether it exists or not. You not knowing what a god is and unable to demonstrate it shows that it's not worth believing in. It's just good manners to not push your imaginary friends onto other people who don't feel the same.
@noona77013 ай бұрын
@@TedTheAtheist well, op didn’t say “you have to believe in God because I said so” they said “God bless you” which is like saying “have a good day” or “good luck”. Is saying “good luck” to someone who doesn’t believe in luck you imposing your beliefs on them? Because I don’t think so. Plus, the guy in the video can just ignore the comment if he disagrees or doesn’t like what they said. He could even remove the comment. It’s not that big of a deal.
@TedTheAtheist3 ай бұрын
@@noona7701 No, it's not like saying "good luck". Nothing like it. If it was, you'd simply say that instead. I didn't say anything about "imposing", you did. Why say that comment at all? It shows the world that you believe in some god thing, and implying he should too. It's not like luck, where we all know it's bs and just a nice thing to say. You're not too good at this, are ya?

@@suesmith4930 my dad didn't take us to a single trip. We only got to go once or twice because our uncle planned a trip together with us. Dad only cared for his office duties. He didn't use his paid leaves, even on the sundays he would find an excuse to go to work. We were okay financially then and now we're much much better but he's still the same even after the retirement. I've never once heard him say "let's go out tonight or let's go on a trip." Because of him my brother has turned out to be the same exact boring version of him. I feel bad for his future kids. I'm in my late 20s now and it hurts seeing these videos.
