Thanks for the heads up and the great review (as always). Buying the prado in rosewood right now. Fyi, CJRB gives Military/Medical staff an extra 15% off and it works on the sale price. No tax, no shipping so it came to a bit over $48. But jsuk, CJRB asked me for a tip as I was paying for the knife. Seriously. Maybe it's just me but tipping for an internet order? Tipping is getting out of control & I personally blame Starbucks for mainstreaming tipping for a cup of coffee... PS: glad to see your subscribers bumping up towards 100k!

I've got the aqua G10 Prado and the rosewood Pyrite Bowie. IMO, CJRB killed it with both of those.

I like both knives but I can’t decide. Would you recommend me one?

Just ordered both of these, same models and threw in a Kicker CF because it's on sale. CJRB are excellent budget blades.

Great review, debating between the glide strike and the Prada?

Wood is pretty but it does require some extra care. I have some wood handle knives but don't carry them because as you mentioned there is no real grip/tackiness with them. I like the Prado in general. BUT that Bowie blade Pyrite is just so different it appeals to me more. I have some other Pyrites with the metal handles and don't care for that feature. The G10 feels better and seems a little lighter. It's another GREAT Stassa23 video here.

I bought this exact version of the Prado. I love the size but I just don’t care for Bowie blade shapes. I muuuuch prefer straight clip points. That pyrite looks very nice tho

That prado Should be pretty slicey considering it's supposed to have 90 thou blade stock. Especially if you re-profile it!!

Prado is a sweet blade, but the handles are not great. Will wait a bit.

The blade shape on the Prado looks just like a spyderco slysz bowie, so in a way they're both bowie knives 😂

The pyrite could’ve been great if it was at least 8 inches or longer

2024 should be the year that satin blades go the way of the dinosaurs. Loves me a stonewash blade, hates satin finish
