You have 100% the right sponsor policy. You pull the viewership of an American basic cable show on a niche network so... charge what you’re worth. Besides, adverts are basically intangible so they are valued on a basis of the previous comparable transaction ;)

I really wouldn't mind more sponsorships. You produce entertaining, often educational content. I think the world would be a slightly better place if there was more ibx2cat content. Being rewarded more adequately would probably make you more inclined to produce more content, or at the very least allow you to compensate the eventual video editor fairly.

Here's a fact you don't need to know! In the Olden Days a "cooper" was someone who made wooden barrels, and a "cooperage" would have been the place where they did that. So that probably wasn't a "Co-Operage" in that old photo of London Bridge.

There used to be station offices in that thin building at London Bridge, and then went to make space for a new platform. There also used to be a road going through LB and that's where that new gate is, I think. You can see information about it all in some of Geoff Marshall's videos on London Bridge's redevelopment

I just wanted to point out that the National Library of Scotland (the website you were using for your maps) has a side by side/overlay view where you can compare modern and old-fashioned maps with each other. It's really useful for showing things like how towns have expanded etc.
@ashleyhamman
@ashleyhamman 3 жыл бұрын
Those NLS maps are so great to explore to see how places have changed over time. The example I like to show is how suburbs popped up in such a short timespan and can already feel old, such as comparing how Muswell Hill was an unremarkable village with fields in the 1870s, to having a large landmark and being infilled with suburbs in the 1910s, and now its half way between city center and the urban fringe, not including commuter towns.

This video reminded me about when I used to live in London, Canada Water area. I lived there between 2009 to 2016, it was a pretty nice area to live at within London, it was so fascinating when I used to discover old remains of different stuff that were there before it became a residencial area, like old trams rails coming from nowhere and going to nowhere, remains of old factories chimneys, etc. But the most bizarre for me was to live in a building built on top of what used to be a water pound... Every area of London has so much history, I love it! So thats why I try to go there very often! :)

This road came out by Southwark Towers the Building that was there before the Shard. I one worked in that building. On Streetview in 2008 you can see they are taking down Southwark Towers.

1st) for Ad's, get all the bag you can. You deserve it. Just make sure they are kinda cool ad's if possible. Hell, I'll. Even settle four raid Shadow Legends is it means that you get some extra cash the 30 to 45 seconds. But really have no impact to the viewers and can make or create creators bank account so don't and accept the offers you feel appropriate. With the time and effort you put into your videos you definitely deserve to be paid for them more than absence office along with sponsorship a couple of midrolls wouldn't go a miss either. your true supports will understand and support your effort and have no issues helping you survive living in a place like London. Much peace and love to you my man, Marcus
