20 years (approximately) ago, I got a job at a small factory. it was so hot in this building & where they kept their stock, well it was a container made of steel with no air movement!! I was told that I wasn't allowed a drink at my station, when I asked where I could get a drink, I was told the bathroom sink!!! They literally wanted me to drink out of the bathroom sink. Let's just say I left on lunch on my very first day!!! I went to a government office & complained as not allowing even water was against my human rights & I knew that in my 20s. A few weeks later I ran into one of the girls that was working there, who had a hate on for me. "You made me lose my job!!! They closed the factory down!" she said. My reply "Is that all you think of yourself? You are an excellent worker & a hard worker! You deserve better than that!" and I moved on!! As I was walking away, I noticed the look of shock on her face!! But I could also tell that there was no more hate!! This also told me that one person can make a difference!! It also told me that words do have power!! Never let people walk through your mind with dirty feet ❤
