Lebanon is one of the countries in this region which is home to the victims of the war from neighboring countries. In Beirut - the capital city of Lebanon you can visit one of the refugee camps in the area where the majority of Syrian and Palestinians are living.
The situation is not definitely the best with space, and surroundings but I was very happy to see many kids have opportunities to play games, study, and dream for the future.
These kids also speak very good English which made the whole experience more fun for me. Today I joined a few other people from the hostel to their cricket training. Played, learned, talked, and made some content.
In this video I am sharing my interaction and experiences from the camp.

thee are refugees who fled from war and still you can see so many happy faces, smiles on their faces. These are very strong people. its not easy to lose everything and start from scratch in a completely new country. God bless these people and the country who gave them another chance at life.

Avoid Beka while in Libanon. Read and prepare yourself which areas to visit. Ask locals you know where to visit.

Which district in Beirut and camp is it? As far as I understood, it was in Beirut. Despite the difficult economic situation, the children are still laughing and their faces show positivity.. Your posts are very interesting.

This place was a decent place but not representative for all camps. Shatila camp was in abject condition in a video I watched here on KZbin, however if you were to visit Libanon I wouldn't recommend going there. It is sad to see people live under those conditions. Sabra and Shatila have a very tragic and sad history. Sabra in this video seems in much better condition and safe to visit for a tourist.

Hey you went to sabra, awesome! I love that people are showing this big part of beirut and lebanon. I would also recommend you check out nabaa and burj hammoud, I am so happy that people are venturing in the real Beirut and filming it. I know it can get challenging sometimes as these places are not touristy and Lebanon is a relatively lawless place, and paranoïa can run high. However the overwhelming majority of people are peaceful and friendly and a few would even sometimes get out of their way to help and protect you.
