Carter! You made a great point about not being able to tell what Lexie Hull did by just looking at the stat sheet. Carter, I really like how you run the clips more than once, interspersed by your breakdown, so that we can look at the clip again with a more educated eye. The other thing I wanted to say was the long pass to Lexi, could have been shown ten times, and I would still marvel at it. Caitlin throws that pass like a quarterback to a wide receiver leading Lexi, she puts her hands up and the ball is just thete. They both make it look EASY (even though I know it's not)

Before the break Mitchell viewed Clark as her competition.. Clark is smart, she feeds Mitchell and lets her be high scorer, now all of a sudden Mitchell feels her worth and wants to play with Clark because she knows if she can get open Clark will feed her.. Clark has made all the players on the team feel their worth, this is what turned the team around.. When you feel your worth to a team you play harder and better.. Notice how Clark would pass instead of shoot, this is done on purpose to spread the worth around.. Clark will put any and all players on the front page and in the spotlight.. If she didn't then some would resent her and call her a glory hound, that would be bad for team moral.. She is smart and will make hero's with all the players.. I have said it before, Lexi is a bundle of energy, she sprints to both ends 100% output all the time and if given a chance can shoot and on defense is relentless in their face..

@@outsidethegarden Sides said something in postgame media to the effect that the players are making her look like a good coach. @@cathygregory3443 DAMN I hope so. exactly how I see her: a playmaker and a team-maker. she saw this whole season from the get-go. "a coach who thinks I'm supposed to 'fit in'? yeah sure, so they can keep losing. so let's see: I need to convert my teammates, into a real team -- like what we had at Iowa. AB will probably see it soonest, since she's an all-star and was a rookie last year. okay yep, she's working with me now. now let's see if KM can realize that I'll feed her good looks if she gets me the ball -- oh yeah, she's on board. and LH is looking to get tied in. this is going to work. maybe I can even get Christie Sides to realize what she's missing? oh, doesn't look like it: she's too 'defensive-minded,' looking to slow us down even when it costs us the game. well, keep working -- she'll have to admit reality at some point." MVP? hell, CC for coach of the year.

Carter, I've learned sooo much about basketball and apparently judging from comments here, I'm not alone. Thanks for showing slow-motion videos and even occasionally drawing a circle around a player. With your experienced eye you recognize what's happening quickly, while I as a new CC fan can only focus on one activity at a time. So I noticed a blur of action as I concentrate on listening first then after replaying the clip a few times on my end, I'm able to comprehend what I heard with what I'm seeing. I find it easier to digest all that information when the action is slowed down as you are talking. Please continue to do more slow motion videos while you're talking, those are great learning moments. A great example is a deliberately slowed down video while you talked at 6:25 and you said the defender goes under the screen and Leslie Hull takes and makes the shot. Another thing you might consider is drawing a line to represent the "screen." Early in the season watching CC and the Fevers, I had to Google to learn what a screen meant in the world of basketball. Keep up the good analysis and it's ok with me that you "float your boat" with predictions that come to past. I am excited for your ConvosWithCarter and can't wait for more viewers to discover you to push you through 10,000 and beyond in subscribers. Your intensity and excitement and light-hearted, modest humor come through well. Do keep up this slower pace of talking.

"this is GROWTH." damn I'd love to see you at the post-game presser. it was sweet, watching CC and LH give KM props (CC had her in tears at one point), and then they gave it up for Lexi. I just get so sick of those stupid-@$$ questions. "how did it feel to win?" (my favorite was CC's answer to "how did it feel to break the 3-point record?" "that was cool. now Kels..." and she goes on about her teammates. tactful.) yeah you would just be a joy to see in a presser. "I don't want to float my own boat, but I CALLED it." the players would love you. but it would be even better if you had Christie Sides's job, after they trade her for a You Tube account. to pump them all up, show them some love, instead of doing calisthenics on the sideline. COACH them. because damn you're good.

Good teams have all stars that step up game after game … the Fever has 3 stars. Great teams have these stars and just as important … role players who make an impact consistently. Lexi, Temi & Double D are beginning to play their roles very consistently. If Erica and Smith perform more regularly … this team will be championship contenders.

I'm on the Lexi Train, for sure...she was the MVP of this game. I've been "calling it" for her, as well. I've been saying the same thing you say...start hitting those threes and it's over. BUT, CARTER...TEMI NEEDS MORE LOVE!!! You didn't even highlight that defensive play where she just TOOK THAT BALL from someone attempting a layup!! Just took it!!!!! Started out as a block, but just WENT BONKERS!! BAM.

Temi played some key defense too. The turnover she caused by Alyssa Thomas at the end was nasty!

Kelsey better get player of the week after how she has been playing…then after that if Lexie keeps this up get her turn as well…can’t wait to see just how much more they can progress to by the playoffs…can easily see Kelsey and CC combining for 60+pts by then making it so they can average 90-100+ pts easily every game with everyone able to hit and make their layups but especially the 3pt shot becoming a new normal for the majority of the team along with the bench players doing it consistently…could become the #1 offensive team in the league..

Except for that dribbling into crowds and the ball is winding up in the opponents hands?

I posted last week--that the Sky would try to injure CC badly in their upcoming game...to knock her out of the playoffs....due to jealousy since they will likely not make it. I did not consider that CONN would try to do the same. Alyssa Thomas should've gotten a flagrant foul. She tried to break CC's jaw. The WNBA needs ot clean up this shyt ASAP.

Go back and watch in slo mo. Thomas took a small step to the R and turned her upper body left and then leaned into Caitlin. That the foul was called on Thomas. Good. However, she didn't need to do the rest to stop CC. How many fans are turning out if Clark has a broken jaw?

Love your videos, your voice, the energy and the analysis, the place you are coming from supporting this team and these players, the clips, all of it! Now after a game I don’t feel satisfied until I’ve watched your take. What did you think of CC taking that last missed 3? Hero ball or loved to see her taking that on?

The Fever looks like a potential championship team to me now.
@jdaniels13132 ай бұрын
They will need a coach who can game plan well and make good in-game adjustments. Right now Fever probably lose in 1st round because of Christie Sides' coaching. Sides needs a consultant/trainer to teach her how to be a decent coach.

Young Man I can't believe you didn't say anything about CC almost get her head taken off by A Thomas on that hard moving screen. To me that was a T and out of the game.

Man, AT is the worst in this league. She doesn't just foul, she really is intent on crippling these girls she targets. That neck-breaking clothesline to Angel Reese and now this play with Caitlin...she's done it to others, as well. She's gonna end someone's career.
