THIS is how to do Le Mans PROPERLY!

I tackle Le Mans 2018 in my Cobra!
I felt like a celebrity taking my '05 Dax Tojeiro Cobra Replica around the streets of Le Mans as everyone cheered me on, enjoying the sounds from my Chevy 350 engine (haters gonna hate). The drive back was incredible too - feeling like a Gumball rally as there were performance cars wherever you went, all heading to the same direction! You could also see photographers stood at every single toll booth ('peage') filming the cars departing.
And thanks to 1st Tickets, official agents for the ACO (Automobile Club de l’Ouest), offering ticket and travel packages for a range of campsites, parking, and grandstand seats at Le Mans for not only the 24 Hour Race, but the Motorbike 24 Hour Race and Le Mans Classic.

You having fun yet with the Cobra? Looks very much like you are! I built my Cobra between 1988 - 1992 with Jag underpinnings, Ford 302W and Borg Warner T5 box. I used it as my daily driver (yes my only car then) until I sold it in 2002 with about 80k miles on the clock. Such fun and probably one of the most trouble free cars I ever owned and I have owned a lot both in England and in South Africa. Mine was not tricked out as your Dax is like the SC version but I kept mine in road trim with pipes out the back and no quick lifts, roll bars etc. Keep on posting, and I will keep on watching!

the escort driver was a nob, he was with a dozen mates with top end bmw,s audi,s etc and they didnt want there cars being damaged so they came to where we was camping, he nearly side swiped a skoda and a tent which was luckily empty, the skoda driver was of the opinion that his mates where just as culpable as they where encouraging the gullible driver and said if they damage my car i will damage theirs, and who would not agree with that,.
