Watching this gave me a grin from ear to ear and almost had tears running down my face looking at his expression and yours. This reminded me of a ride (987.2 Cayman S) my brother took with me and I looked like Mischa he looked like you did. When the car started to rotate on it's axis he started looking a bit in fear 😵💫. I let him know we were at about 8 tenths and not to worry 😁, I'm 73 and he's 75 🤫. Thanks for sharing the ride.

As a 987.1 Cayman S owner myself. This was truly awesome. Thanks for making this video. Great to see what this platform can actually do. How I modified my brakes: stainless steel brake lines and the cayman R pads. They offer a slightly better bite without the squealing of track pads.

Sorry, I had to laugh at the fear on your face during some of the segments in the video. I've let my dad drive my own Cayman and there's many moments that has my ass clenching and thinking "Oh here we go, i'm dead lol", even when I make the exact same maneuvers. The confidence dynamics really hits between you driving your car hard and letting someone drive it hard lol

I’m so pleased for you that you got to ‘enjoy’ (yes we all loved watching your face 😂) your car being driven like that. It’s definitely satisfying to see how capable the platform is and how well it faired at 17 years old, plus how much more it can handle than you have been giving it. Asking someone like Misha to take it out is of course a risk, but then we all have to assess risks when we drive our own sports cars and if the life long memory and reward for a lap like that was worth the potential risk then it’s well worth it I’m sure and at least in your case it paid off. Something you’ll never forget 😊

So we suspected a shock but I can’t feel that and it’s not leaking. Misha thinks bushes which does make more sense given the cars age. The car had full fast road geometry so ride heights we spot on so hardly going to be a shock.

Couldn’t decipher if you had fear for your life or for the lack of mechanical sympathy for the old girl getting an absolute thrashing. Obviously a completely different experience to watch compared to your lap which was pedestrian at best (sorry Joe), but the gear shift ferocity shows it was either full brake or full throttle all the way round apart from some mid bend sawing. Loved it.

@flat6croc5 ай бұрын
If you want to do this kind of thing, fine. But it's poor advice to suggest other people should give their cars to Misha. He pushes cars very hard, often doesn't leave much margin and crashes regularly. That's not to criticise his ability, it's just a reality if you're pushing that hard, things are going to go wrong. I wouldn't let him near my cars. Again, I'm not criticising his ability, it's his MO that's the problem as a car owner.
@thecraiglett15 ай бұрын
He doesn't crash, "regularly". Why lie and say that he does ??
@flat6croc5 ай бұрын
@@thecraiglett1 It's not a lie. He crashed an M4 a few weeks ago and ended up in hospital. He crashed his own GR86 nine months ago. He crashed another M4 about six months before that, crashed a GT86 before that and on and on. In fact, he's crashed eight times this year. After the latest crash there's been something of an outcry on the Nurburgring group FB page for the whole go fund me thing and the complete lack of introspection when it comes to crashing. He's a liability. So, fuck off and don't falsely accuse people of lying.
