Reviewing 10-Ks and 10-Qs is a good strategy when applying at ANY company - not just pitching creatively. I really enjoyed that this video humanizes the executive side of the table and really makes it less personal. They really aren't rejecting you or your idea because they think it's bad. It just might not align with their current goals. So, review the goals of the studio and only pitch your idea to places where it makes sense.
