Testing Tri v Hex in the tool as lvl 6 noc, it looks like trinity dps is slightly higher in a 6 aa trade with or without ult when using trinity force, but you do stack LT faster with hexplate. Looking at DPS when you hit 2k damage, so first to 2k, and trinity wins the race slightly on a lvl 1 test dummy, idk how to change their lvls When looking at DPS at 5 seconds after impact from ult then hexplate is 50 higher, so 250 extra damage off hexplate in the extended fights, probably because LT was stacked sooner and this is a big deal unless the target is already basically dead. When looking at DPS at 10 seconds after impact from ult it was 399 to 401, so exactly the same if you ult in and fight multiple ppl to the death, but the lvl 3 q cd with tri force is 6.6 s so its up way faster than 8. I think noc normally flies in and fights, backs up poking with q until another good time to go in. At lvl 11 only 1 item it was incredibly close numbers at 3 benchmarks before, 6 aa, 5 seconds, and 10 seconds, with no real difference between them. Howeever the rush to 2k looked much better for tri force here and gets this done by the 4th aa. The tri force proc gets better with lvls which probably explains this. In all testing I q'd while flying in and e'd asap. I waited 30 seconds between each ult when using hexplate to make sure that the passive was working, and it was obvious when it wasn't working because then tri force won (meaning fights w/o ult are way better for tri) *btw skipping 30s with the tool does not refresh the hex passive, you have to actually wait it out. The ult CD no runes lvl 6 tri is 111 and hex is 103 lvl 11 tri is 91 and hex is 84 lvl 16 tri is 71 and hex is 66 The ult CD max runes lvl 6 tri is 92 and hex is 86 lvl 11 tri is 76 and hex is 71 lvl 16 tri is 59 and hex is 56 So I'm thinking Tri rush is viable but better for shorter bursts or teamfights while Hex is better at single target to the death. Also hexplate might be better early ult spike but not as good later. surprised the 10 haste is only an extra 8 seconds early I haven't really done item testing like this before so if you have suggestions or feedback on the process I'd appreciate it. Shoot it might be cool if you just make a vid doing the tests! I wonder if testing only 1 item for lvl 11 and 16 is disingenuous, but my thinking is to isolate the item I'm testing. I was worried putting this under my own comment would make it so you didn't see it so sorry for 3rd comment one vid lol I'm boosting your engagement! also, FFS I spent 45 mins in this gosh darn testing tool I'm going to go play some funny games!

After dropping that last comment I was thinking, stridebreaker just had ability haste removed so I hit the shop and started looking. Trinity force gives all the stats we want, even tho numbers arent as high. AD, AH, AS, HP, Sheen Proc, and MS when smacking. Maybe this is the secret juice? 333 gold more, 10 ad less (but sheen), 13% more AS, MS in any fight, not just ult fights and 20 AH instead of 30 ult only... I'm starting to convince myself, what do you think?

Lmao that void grub in g3. Yeah I feel like hexplate doesn't give me the damage I am used to from stridebreaker and that confuses me because they both have ad, hp, attackspeed. Instead o the slow whip we get move speed, which feels like its the same in a 1v1. Slow them, or speed me up, either way I stick to you the same.

Slow is great for sticking to ppl and allowing team to catch up. Speed is great for sticking and dodging skill shots. So pick your poison kinda thing.

Sometimes, yes. Those situations are rare and you can help them out a ton more by just being stronger. When you are 3 lvls up on the enemy adc it doesn't matter your adc is 0-4 so long as they don't rage quit, because you can just thanos snap the enemy adc
