I sent in two recorded games to the discord where I defended against this strategy. It’s actually really easy to defend you just have to pay attention to your TC when it’s getting sieged down. It also helps to know the damn strategy is back in circulation.

They’re actually pretty funny games if you’d be interested in casting them. I was experimenting with hyper defensive decks at the time and they include a card or two that almost no Mexican players use.

Easy counter(10vil garrsion shoot hero),he just wasnt paying attention to counter. Realistically you would play that card as your 2 or 3rd(comboing it with a fast age up) card if you can spot a good forward base being built OR doing a fast cav/musk rush and playing it as your 5th-8th ish card for the extra siege to down the tc or kill houseing/towers going into an extended age 2 game.

I think this guy tried to do a similar strat to me in a 2v2 ladder game, aging up 5/10 with sweedes into pure merc shipments. If it wasn't for his unhelpful teammate, he would have crush me.

I know Look Tom, he does Knew this card but, nobody expects this kind of Trolling, Look also told it only need TC fire+some vills to kills Explorer, with 5 vills on firepit it took 45s ~ to get War Chief Up again, not worth it in many cases. I think the 100food start was decisive, the normal age up time with this without treasures would be 1:20~

Full TC would kill the 680 hp warchief in 9 hits (11 hits on full health and 5 vill dance), while warchief needs 29 hits to destroy the TC. There is no way this should work unless you just ignore the warchief. Iro has litarally no eco. Just kill the WC and don't lose vills to 4 kanye.

You could get more lucky treasures maybe steal one from the opponent (though 100 food is pretty great), you could start on say Deccan with the extra Res to get up earlier, but otherwise that's probably as good as it gets

Tom just had to call militia and garrison TC when he noticed he had half HP left. This strategy this fast only works as an all in and even then Iro had to get boosted by a 100 food treasure for the fast age up

How could someone as experienced as Look_tom not know about this? I mean good of them to send the record to you so I guess they know now. Like I said yesterday about why I don't like playing this game online anymore you get accused of cheating for game knowledge. This one is pretty basic too, it's not concealed behind revolts or anything and anyone aging up that early is a massive 'check the deck' red flag. All they have to do is garrison and/or melee the war chief and gather enough for minutemen. Even if they bring him back you are getting age 2 shipments, minutemen and TC fire against rare age 2 shipments at worst cus they aren't getting experience for kills like you are. Hausa and Ethiopia may struggle a little harder but they can ship influence on age up to get minutemen and they hit the age up after Haudenosaunee hits age 2 so know to send any age up that gives influence. Still a variant of first shipment town destroyer was done back in 2008. There were two strats back then that were similar. You couldn't do 5 vills because Haudenosaunee started with more wood back then instead of food, but you did 8 and built a TP with starting wood instead. After that it's basically the same. Spam unit shipments after town destroyer first. Doesn't work against anyone awake though, but fun to catch people napping in their BOs. However Lakota had a fun strat where you built 8 vills, ignored first shipment and sent 4 axe riders first and raided the crap out of your opponent who couldn't defend themselves. Probably not as effective now because hunts are much safer and more numerous (thankfully) but it's fun at least :D.
