Why is he still using a +1 weapon at the end of the game?
@dermaskiertemuchacho61397 жыл бұрын
Teeny Tiny Asakura Well, because he does not know one thing about the game and just does what the stream tells him to. If they don't tell him EXACTLY what to do, he won't. This playthrough is actually one of the best ones to demonstrate this. For example when the stream tells him to melee the enemy, he runs head-on to the enemy, loses 2/3 of his life even before reaching him since he doesn't dodge or block, mashes attack RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, enemy casts spell, he dies. What does he do? Tell the people that their advice to use melee was terrible, competently ignoring the fact that "use melee" does not mean to forget everything else like dodging/blocking and positioning yourself accordingly. Or when someone in the stream tells him to use flame toss and he says "no one told me that I need it, so I don't have it with me" - expecting someone should have told him before. He needs to be told exactly what to do and he will only do something when being told (although sometimes he ignored good advice for some crazy reason). So, why did he not upgrade his weapon and wonders why he does no damage with it? No one told him to upgrade it, so he didn't do it since he doesn't even know about this simple mechanic. What is amazing is that he played Dark Souls before and yet doesn't grasp this. Hell, this isn't even a unique Souls mechanic. Upgrading equipment is in so many games. Again, this playthrough is Phil's worst one (not exaggerating, I mean that) and is really a prime example for someone being 100% dependant on the stream.

This is an absolutely abysmal and embarrassing trainwreck of a playthrough. He did everything completely wrong in every situation: He used a normal nonupgraded Falchion when he could've found the Crescent Falchion in World 4 to greatly increase damage in melee combat. Since it has an A scale rating for Magic, putting points into that would not only increase its damage further, but also increase the power of spells for ranged combat. He wasted 57 hours grinding to Level 97 just to beat the Armor Spider, when you can easily beat it in about a minute or two using the Purple Flame Shield and the Crescent Falchion. He didn't store all the stuff he didn't need at the moment with Stockpile Thomas, which is why he was unable to pick up new items and was forced to discard the valuable stuff he was already carrying. He didn't find the Dragon Bone Smasher and the Bramdt, which both deal massive damage without even needing to be upgraded at all. He kept referring to the chat pretty much every single second for someone to tell him exactly what to do for everything. He didn't dump enough points into the proper stats for them to actually make a difference. During the Old Monk fight, it summoned a player who was also around the similar Soul Level he was. However, he was unable to actually inflict any meaningful damage as a result. He constantly threw tantrums and insulted everyone, and blamed everything else but himself, his lack of skill, and capacity to actually learn anything and think for himself.

The only thing that's really offensive about these playthroughs to me is that he always says he loved the game after whining and bashing it the entire fucking time.

I also grinded to Level 97, but I only did that after I unlocked the Adjudicator Archstone and acquired the Dragon Bone Smasher and the Ring Of Avarice. It only took me about a dozen hours of total play time to reach that point.

1:09:20 I fucking love how proud he is for essentially making the game not worth playing anymore. He really seems to think that he truely accomplished something X-D 1:10:22 Are these numbers correct? Because that would mean that to get from Level 81 to 97 you have to collect at least 640'000 souls. If he only farmed on the skelettons, he would have had to kill over 2'100 skelettons. To get that in 60 hours, you would have to kill 35 skelettons per hour, which means less than 2 minutes per skeletton. And while this is technically possible, you have to include going back to the nexus and back into the level every now and again, which means a lot of reloading, walking from encounter to encounter, not dying... and again, this ONLY calculates what it would take to get from Level 81 to 97, AND it only assumes a cost of 40'000 souls per level, which is even less than it would take from level 81 to 82. So yeah... it's not that the numbers don't make it unlikely, it's that it is impossible beyond any measures X-D

I actually grinded to Level 97 in the Adjudicator Archstone after I'd acquired the Dragon Bone Smasher. It took me significantly less time than Phil, especially after I got the Ring Of Avarice, because the total souls from all the enemies in that stretch was around 33,000 per round.

@NexusKin7 ай бұрын
Yeah, and Demon's Souls is actually more accommodating since you're able to carry 99 of each type of Moon Grass, and don't have to go back to the Nexus to automatically restore them.

I think the guy is drunk. He's pretty good at hiding it physically but his mental state is all over the place in a heartbeat.

I think he also seems to be mentally imbalanced. The bad choices he constantly makes that any sane, logical and rational player would be smart enough to avoid seem to support that.

He probably didn't even upgrade the proper stats. When I hit Lvl 97, I had like 36 Strength, 24 Dexterity, 24 Faith, 26 Endurance, and 38 Vitality. It only took me about a dozen hours of total play time to reach that point by grinding the enemies in the Adjudicator Archstone, and it went even faster after I bought the Ring Of Avarice.

The overall level doesn't matter if you invested points in the wrong stats. When I hit Level 97, I had 38 Vitality, 36 Strength, 26 Endurance, 24 Dexterity and 24 Faith. At that point, I was able to use and carry some of the best weapons, armor, and items in the game, while also having a decent amount of health as well.
