I also love the snow area, feels so good to play in any snow area and you can have so much more space to loot for clothing :)) , also food should not spoil in the snow area as you said ! :)

I've been saying food shouldn't spoil as fast as it does in cold areas for quite a while now. I even used the example of my father-in-law when he lived in Michigan where he could leave meat outside all winter and it not go bad.

@@4clouds Scum supposedly wants to be as realistic as possible. I agree with you and think they could do better with food in the game. I'm still boycotting the garden because of weeds and plants dying so fast. I have my greenhouse with self watering hydroponic boxes in No One Survived and almost an ideal garden in Hold Your Own. I do wish the yield was better in Hold Your Own.

btw can it be that at least in solo animals can just spawn? no hunting "minigame" to find them. since i ran into a bear (which was mauled by a horde, poor thing just didn't fight back) and on a respawn i got mauled by a goat (yes you read that right, i did not studder) while i was crafting my survival essentials, damn thing got me in the leg and gave me a nasty limp, i punched it, it ran away, came back and finished what it started.

Full Vanilla settings is the best scum experience in my opinion. Shame all the officials are riddled with Cheats and hardly any community servers enjoy Vanilla settings.

If I know the bomb puppet? I know him quite well he blows me up frequently. Just a while back he jumped of fa Quonset hut in front of the truck and blew me up. I haven't been playing the game a lot lately. No .22 Hunter. I've left it plenty of times and kept going with a stone axe and wooden spear. I like the snow area. It's easier to drive off road in. I'd rather go to drops there. I just can't get myself to build a main base there. I did build my boat dock north of the C2 trader. IMO the 490 is the best shotgun in the game. I use the SDASS because I like its looks better when I do use one. I don't use it much because it can't load fast enough. No way the double barrel will load fast enough for me and no support for a suppressor. I don't care to run around constantly reloading while avoiding 6 or 8 puppets.

The double barrel is superior in PvP😁 2 insanely fast shots with a good aim are deadly

@@casual.wardog I agree in PVP. For me in PVE I'm a lot more likely to come up against 6+ puppets at a time. For a while I've been watching Scum videos and for a while I was thinking where's the puppets? Then I realized most people was on vanilla puppet settings. I've been on increased puppets for quite a while now and have a lot more than vanilla setting. I have seen people that have a whole lot of puppets. That doesn't happen too often though.

Have you played any Resident Evil games? Some of those types of enemies could spice up a game like Scum. Overall Scum is fun imo but for large puppet hordes to work properly we would need an actual dodge ability instead of simply running or side stepping which isn't dodging. I liked most Resident Evil games but their replay value is so low. Once you play one a few times there's not much fun left to be had. The same can be said about most games though. If you get the best gear, guns, etc in Scum and have vehicles you want, a base built like you want then the puppets truly are not even a mild threat anymore and increasing the amount of puppets isn't the right way to increase difficulty. I agree with you when you said before that it can be more fun starting on a new character since you have nothing and can't just slaughter puppets endlessly but starting over to get new fun isn't a solution.

Vanilla loot is good the highest should be 1.5x anything above that is not enjoyable. You can get fully loaded quick on higher settings takes away the grind.

That's one of the things I really like about Scum. I started single player and vanilla loot. I got bored and searching and not finding anything most of the time didn't help. Now I'm on a PVE server with mechs disabled, increased loot, increased puppets, and when I got on the server night time was only around 1 irl hour. I'm almost 3400 hours now and only like a few thousand puppet kills to get my 30k achievement. I started playing when .5 came out.
