Davis, On this Put Condor video, I have 4 questions: 1. Before you trade Put Condor, do you look at the stochastic oscillator & Chart for the right timing (as you taught us)? 2. Do you apply only one kind Index ETF (SPY or IWM) for these 100 trades. 3. How long it takes you to complete these 100 trades? 4. Do you use exit criteria (50 % POP or 21 DTE).

thank you Davis! I've spent the last 3 hours watching a bunch of your videos, you are the clearest and most straight-forward options person on KZbin I've seen! I'm looking forward to trying a bunch of your strategies!

I always love your strategy videos Davis. I'm almost 70 and it usually takes some time for me to learn new things but you explain things in a way that makes it so easy for me to understand even at my age. I guess you can teach "old dogs new tricks"! I've already been very profitable from using some of the strategies you teach so will try this as well! Btw, can I request you to create a video on strategies for retirement account? Thanks and appreciate all you do!

Hi Davis, great videos. I do credit spread as well. My question is how do you recommend which stocks to pick for credit spreads? Do you look for high IVR? And also how do I know if the IVR is not always high for the stock I select?

It is worth mentioning that the max profit zone (aka the 'trap zone') develops near the end of the cycle (after 21 DTE). In the event that the underlying price starts moving up by a few percent points, is this a position that you would recommend to hold near the expiration as it could provide a low risk hedge for the portfolio in the event that the market pulls back near (or little under) its original price? Thanks Davis for posting such great videos!
@pragmatica10327 ай бұрын
BTW, I never explored that strategy before and will definitely add it to my arsenal.

Can be managed either way depending on you since it has a decent sized profit zone. Choose one that suits your preference.

That's great strategy, though the underlying asset selection has to be a right one, as it move above current price and you'll only be left with a small bit instead of the full profit.

❤❤❤The demand and supply trading strategy is about identifying areas on a price chart where there's a lot of buying or selling activity. Traders then enter trades based on whether they expect the price to go up (in demand zones) or down (in supply zones). It's all about buying low and selling high, but it requires skill and risk management.
@Managermenon7 ай бұрын
The reality of the demand and supply trading strategy is that while it can be effective when used correctly, it's not a guaranteed way to make money. It requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, precise identification of zones, disciplined risk management, and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions. Traders also need to be aware that sometimes price movements may not align perfectly with their expectations, leading to losses. Like any trading strategy, success with demand and supply trading requires experience, patience, and continuous learning.

This is my 7yrs in the industry and I can tell you that it's extremely hard to maintain profitability alone because we lack so much real informations but hedgefund manager and big institutions have access to market changing informations which they use to their advantage and that is why I would still even encourage copytrading hedgefund manager menon too. This is actually my 4th year with him and it's🔥🔥🔥

Certainly, hedge fund managers have advantages like access to resources, professional expertise, diversification, leverage, and networks, giving them an edge over normal retail traders in the market.

@saifudinsaleh7 ай бұрын
I cant seem to place trades on XSP in IBKR. Permission applied.

That depends on you. Placed on varying DTEs and the strategy can be constructed on any underlying.

Your videos are always excellent, and I appreciate how you maintain a level-headed approach to market analysis while still keeping them engaging. Utilizing daily trade signals and insights from Flora Elkin, I’ve been able to capitalize on market fluctuations and increase my earnings via day trading, managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 532k. Day trading deserves greater attention due to its resilience against market unpredictability.

Thanks for sharing with us and it was great strategy based on your result. I have 2 questions:- 1) The exit strategy is still the same exit 21 DTE or 50% profit ? I understand that base on the analysis simulation from TOS, usually it won’t reach 50% profit if choose to exit 21 DTE. 2) what is the different between futures and options ? How to trade futures ? Can it be treaded the same like options strategics ? It would be great if you could create the video for that.
@optionswithdavis7 ай бұрын
Can be managed either way depending on you since it has a decent sized profit zone. Choose one that suits your preference. And if you're talking about futures vs options (and not options on futures vs options on equities) then it's traded very differently. Just do a google search to educate yourself thoroughly. And you're welcome ☺️

96% win rate sounds nice but its really long time to put on 100 trades and then come out with small profit from the testing.. 100 trades could be 3+ months.. is that correct? what im seeing?
@zack16107 ай бұрын
I agree, you are better off putting money in high yield accounts/CDs at that point. In order to grow a small account, the best way is to take the base hits as they come

The 112 trade has a higher POP and a very similar bear trap. No risk to the up side.
So these strategies are only good if the share price rallies?

A Bull Put Spread has no risk to the upside either. So how is this any better?

Neither better or worse. Just a different strategy. BPS is more bullish. This is more neutral to slightly bearish. Which you put on depends on your view of the market.
