BTS earned $75 million from 11 shows from 3 concert series (Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Seoul, South Korea) total in 2022. Bad Bunny's concert run spanned 21 shows in 15 cities, earning $81.7 million from 910,000 tickets sold. So you are comparing 11 shows, to 21 shows. BTS didn't even go on a tour, they just did 3 different concert series in 3 cities. They were on a BREAK! All seven were working on their solo projects. You can't compare the two. BTS did three concert series and a free concert that probably beat everyones record. for amount of people that viewed the concert online and in person combined for one show. Over 70 million online and 65,000 in person. And while it says 49 million viewed it. I was streaming it through Weverse, and at one time their were over 70 million people streaming. So that wasn't accurate. That doesn't even count the people that streamed through NAVER in South Korea. I think it was something like 20 million also. Let's also talk about how they were on a break and working on their solo projects, and how J-Hope headlined Lollapalooza and drew in 100,000 people to Sunday night and how over 20 million people streamed it on Weverse and HULU. That's just one BTS member on his solo debut. But all the guys will be enlisting for 18 months, and they will be back in 2025. You should check out RM's new album INDIGO. It's a masterpeice, and BTS has been nominated this year for three Grammy's. The Recording academy actually have articles about each member and their "Chapter 2" which is their solo projects, and then military service. Anyway, I'm really proud of them, and I will be here supporting them until they return. Only one member has enlisted so far, and that's JIN. Bapsae is about the generation BTS is a part of in Korea. There was a big economic bubble that burst in the late 90s. The bapsae is a crow tit (it's a bird, nothing dirty) and refers to a phrase used to call the generation basically Try Hards. "If a crow tit tries to walk like a crane, it will break it's legs" The song is often called Silver Spoon because it tells the previous generation (born with a silver spoon in their mouth) to give them a chance.

Those stats about concert sales are misleading...they're probable sales in the U.S. only. Across the world, it's BTS. They also have the largest paid online concert ticket sales, at over 1.2 million per concert. Each ticket can be used on 2 devices, so we're talking up to approximately 2.4 million streaming devices, with an unlimited amount of viewers. And to top it off, people wake up at all hours of the day to watch these concerts--4 a.m. where I'm from. That's crazy!

BTS has not toured since before the pandemic. While the limited number of concerts BTS has performed since the pandemic has had over 50,000 attendees per night, the number is not going to rival that of top tier artists playing a lot of gigs.

Built for Soccer matches. It seats 90,000. In its history, only 15 artists have sold this venue out. And only 7 of these artists sold out more than one date. BTS is one of those artists. Some other artists are Take That (British artist) 8 dates, Ed Sheeran, 4 dates, Spice Girls and One Direction, 3 dates, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and BTS, 2 dates. BTS sold 90,000 tickets in 90 minutes. In the 2 days they performed for over 114,000 at the stadium in 2 days and 150,000 paid live streaming. They made over $ 13.5 million in sales from these two concerts alone. Yet Bad Bunny isn't on that list at all... Don't get me wrong, I know how talented Bad Bunny is, but that is one thing he can't say.

La gran diferencia es que BTS cantan muy bien, bailan, componen y producen música. Son artistas en todo el sentido de la palabra. Bad Bunny no, solo "canta" con la ayuda de autotune. Yo lo he escuchado sin autotune y honestamente es horrible. Eso si, tiene un buen equipo de promociones. Y ni hablar si comparamos los mensajes y letras de las canciones de Bad Bunny con BTS. BTS has a lot of blocks in the West. Bad Bunny gets radio play while BTS hardly does...even with full English songs. We've been battling this bro for some time. We have a saying, "BTS doesn't need a Grammy, Grammy needs BTS." Thats how ARMY role. We know their greatness but American artist, in particular, are REAL worried about them. Those Award shows have now created a KPOP category so these groups like SVT, STK and BTS can't take an award from an American Artist who has PAYOLED their way to the top. IJS.
