BTS doesn’t lip sync. They sing live with backing tracks but they don’t lip sync. Even in rehearsals, they sing with their live vocals while dancing that’s why they could perform with live vocals while doing the choreography and still sound good if not better than the studio recording. BTS are the greatest performers alive! BTS is the best! There’s nothing like BTS!

Sometimes the US broadcasts don’t know how to muffle the crowd so their audio makes it look like BTS are lipsyncing but in-person video shows they are singing live.

They only time they really lip sync is during the MVs. It's because they rarely lip sync that it's so obvious. Besides the MVs are more about the visuals for their concepts. I really love these hard working young men. ot7💜💜💜💜💜😘

@@denisebrown7680 not to mention it is actually industry standard for all singers, not just idols, to lip sync in their music videos. You would be hard pressed to find a music video from any artist in the entire world where they aren't lip syncing, but like you and everyone else here has said BTS never lip sync live.

Yeap.. is never enough Baepsae haha and just to point it out.. they almost never lip sync, specially in award shows and of course never in concerts. What they do for their most demanding songs is to leave their backing vocals to help them when they are out of breath, but they do sing on top of that tracks all the time. What is awesome is that they don’t even try to hide it, because of course nobody is expecting for them to be perfect vocally ALL THE TIME while they’re dancing their asses off, that’s why sometimes you can see someone singing his part and stops in certain parts but you can still hear some vocals in the background. For example the MMA2019… they didn’t lip sync but of course you can hear the backing vocals behind their live voices, In fact in ‘Boy in love’ you can hear V in the beginning singing the aggressive part at the beginning and he stops in the middle and lets the backing vocal playing alone. They often do that also to prove that they are actually singing. Sorry if I didn’t explain myself very well… sometimes My brain forgets that I studied english for a long time.

Jhope always freestyled the dance break, there are some compilations out there of all the different ones he did. So that is why they did the rock/paper/scissors for the dance practice and suga had to do it, lol

about the lip syncing stuff, a lot of music and award shows will play their backing vocals very loudly, mostly to ensure that what they're broadcasting sounds good (this is something many people have complained about), and with online shows, they record multiple times but still use the live vocals, which is why sometimes they may not match up, but I'm pretty sure BTS are known to be one of the few groups that don't lip sync

Unlike in America where labels who use their new singers as opening ACTS or in Korea where the BIG 3 use new talent as their opening acts. BTS was BIG HITS ONLY ACT! BTS do marathon concerts all by themselves. It's the most amazing thing you've ever seen. At the 2019 concert, they started the concert with Dionysus one of the most demanding numbers in their arsenal and they went right in to Not Today. I was in the audience, and I was puffing hard. Also, in the beginning they practiced in a dance studio, that when it rained, the rain would come up through the floor boards and their feet would get soaked. It wasn't all roses. They had food, a place to sleep and a practice studio.

In order to be able to sing and do their intense dance moves at the same time, BTS practice singing while running on a treadmill and also by beating on their chests while singing. They only lip sync in music videos, for obvious reasons. They have been accused of lip syncing many times because nobody thinks they can sing and dance at the same time, but they have proven them wrong time and time again.

BTS does not lip-sync for the award shows or comeback stages. They have a backup track playing at a lower volume, but they themselves are singing live. This was all part of their training for them to be in concert-ready condition. Bang PD did not like artists that did not sing live.

yeah they practice singing and running and honestly some aren‘t pros in lipsync - the songs are sometimes in the background esp when there is a hard choreo and during that time they don‘t even do a lipsync - they don‘t need to. They are so good live.

This was a part of medley of songs in the 2/3 of their concert and all of them were getting really tired because they've been dancing and singing without a break for more than several songs so energetically like this video. Attack on Bangtan is even more fun to watch from this medley. Please do watch and it's even more crazy energetic. You will see their hairs are wet from sweat.

Yeah, I know many people said this, but it’s a point of pride for them - they **never** lip synch. In fact their live vocals are so good they were accused of lip synching early on and you may notice they sometimes leave the ends off of some lines in live performances just to show that they are singing live. They always sing live.

I'm not sure where you heard that they sometimes lip sync from. Most definately not during award shows particularly MAMA's which is filled with rival fandoms. That's the lion's den, they have to sing live. They would get crucified. There's too many eyes on them. Media, The Big 3 and other groups. They're not awarded any passes like other groups might be given. There would be no forgiveness for BTS. The other fandoms are waiting to prove that BTS lip sync or don't live up to the hype. Those award ceremonies aren't just filled with ARMY. And as you know from HARDSHIPS, they have haters ready to pounce on them at any given moment. They can't afford to give them any room to grow seeds of doubt. The fandom wars can be compared to Soccer hooliganism in the UK. And those fandoms and anti BTS netizens (I think that's right word) are vigilant and religous about persecuting BTS. Now I'm not having a go at my bias wrecker because I love my Suga. But in ON:Kinetic manifesto video - The "win no matter what " section the lip sync was off. But I just realized that might have been an editing whoops. Anyway they've said a bunch of times that they're bad at it. And American media and talk shows are still suspicious of BTS. People can't believe the way they perform. There's an attitude like "If American's can't do it then BTS CAN'T DO IT EITHER." and this is the country they're trying to break into. It's also similar to the type of stuff other fandoms say. And I've also heard words being omitted by the boys when they sing live to prove... they're singing live.

Award shows, concerts and personal appearances are always done live. The MVs are not. The MVs are more about the visuals as far as the concept and the BTS Universe. The focus is on the look and dancing. For the live performances, they focus on "everything" and give their all (true blood, sweat and tears!) Love 'em!💜💜💜

Pied Piper and Dimple = Body rolls and eyes. So much with the eyes. And the body rolls. Yup. Also, I know everyone else has already commented about them not lipsyncing. They even deliberately stop singing in spots to prove that they are live (with the backing track.) There usually isn't intense choreography during the most difficult rap sections, the rapper doesn't dance. You could see how RM was moving on stage while JHope, Jimin and Jungkook framed him and danced, then RM joined back in. It's pretty seamless how they do it.

"Bapsae" lol again you've probably learnt this by now but it's Baepsae so use how you say the ae at the end of it and apply it after the b, there's no harsh a sound in it x') Edit : "In this specific one they're not lipsync'ing" they never lipsync, or at least not by choice - and by that I'm referring to performances when they were much smaller and had no control over it at certain places for whatever reason, you can really tell when they in old footage because they suck at it lol just as well they don't need to because they're SO bad at lipsync'ing x') What they do at times have though (and this is common in kpop) is a backing track is played quieter behind them, so if they need to stop singing/rapping when out of breath from dancing/mini accidents that may happen then the there's a backup. But yeah... Overall they always perform live now.

Oh Lou………..Lou, lip sync is been a bit of a touchy subject because when they sing they are not lip syncing, trust me there are a few songs out there where Yoongi and Tae have both stopped singing their part to prove that it is actually them and not brittney syncing sorry, new one of her backup dancers from long ago and yes she always lip synced her concerts, but anyway, I do agree that when they did mnet they did lip sync some of those, not sure why, but 99% of the time it is them singing, now they do have I believe like with Tae in Stigma, have to react to that live, he sings live, but they also have his own vocals mixed in the background so I think that is why people have accused them of lip syncing their songs since they do used their own vocals mixed with the live vocals which is kind of cool that we are hearing them backing themselves instead of someone else. Oh and during dance practice they either lip sync or they don’t sing at all, which is smart, why waste the vocals cords when it’s a dance practice. Josh you are correct Dimple and Pied Piper hips and the smoldering eyes from Taetae, that man is sex personified when on stage, but off he’s so cute💜

Oh lipsyncing Let's no be casual I would rather recommend research on the matter Please take any crash course on BTS lips synching Mic drop for instance, and don’t mention it to Suga. Sore subject to be idle about. Especially on live performances It is best to say I don't know and research
