A grave of one of the Bennett Brothers can be found in Roanoke Ridge. North of Sawbone Clearing on the southeastern hill slope.

You can also get the newspaper clipping by looting any of the townsfolk in Annesburg. Less dangerous. Plus you get the bucket hat in the bargain 😊 You can actually get the map and gold bar without knowing all the details, but great job presenting the backdrop to its existence, brother.

You can get the Newspaper Scrap with looting random NPCs in Annesburg, or near Annesburg. You mustn’t loot the Foreman. I got it from looting random NPC near Annesburg

The lockbox in the cabin at 3m55s respawns if you ride away for a few minutes then go back. If you have time and you're low on funds, repeat it a few times then go to a fence. Beware of the Grizzly as you approach the cabin.

I just got this treasure 2 days ago! I just randomly went to Reed's Cabin and found the map cuz I always check chimneys for prompts ever since that earlier mission... All the stuff before the cabin makes it so much more interesting tho! I would of never figured all that out! I got this game from Steam a month ago and I can't believe all the shit I've already done and there's like 20x more shit out there! I still have 3 legendary animals and like 8 legendary fish to catch and my map is still all blurred out from Blackwater to the west so there's still like 3 towns I haven't even seen yet! The amount of thought and work that went into this game are unprecedented

I just sort of had this map. I don't recall finding it in a chimney, but I might have looted that cabin without realizing it. In any case, this is all backstory, not necessary to find the treasure if you manage to find the map.

It seems like a dick move to have to loot the Central Union Railroad Foreman to get the newspaper clipping. The dude pays Arthur for work, after all. I did not know about this newspaper clipping before watching your vid. I don't remember where it is exactly, but I think there is a "friendly" stranger camp where a camper talks about this treasure.

The one in Van Horn? Some theorize it's Penelope but in reality you can't do anything with it, no dialogue, no girl, just a mystery.
